"I used to be a fan of The Lobster Pot, but on my most recent visit, I was extremely disappointed with the fish and chips I ordered. Priced at £11 for a large portion, the fish was inedible, with lots of hard, brown, and chewy bits. The chips were also terrible, despite being promised freshly made chips - they seemed to have just reheated old ones. The overall quality was very poor, with a tasteless flavor and black bits on the potatoes. I'm not sure what has caused the decline in the quality of this restaurant."

Worst fish and chips we have had from any chippy. Fish had hard rubbery batter and thin wafer of fish inside. For 10 pounds each it was dreadful. Chips ok but not good. Staff were good shame about the cooking.

I am 75 been eating fish and chips all my life, this stuff was the worst I have had, staff miserable, the place has gone down hill badly, avoid this expensive rubbish. Challenge!!! find the fish amongst the God awful batter DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I have been to this restaurant three times and every time they have gotten my order wrong. Most recently, I ordered two portions of chips and a sausage, a simple order you would think they could not mess up. However, Lobster Pot managed to get it wrong again. This place is terrible and expensive. Avoid it.

Got a portion of kebab and chicken meat (there was no pitas and chips were a 10 minute wait), was absolutely vile. Just didn 't taste or feel right as I was eating it....just felt like sludge. Also, yes I asked for garlic mayo but it was swimming in it. Threw at least half of it away. Haven 't eaten at all since, as still feel sick at the thought of it. Speisekarte ansehen

Terrible food .we both had battered sausage and chips .chips very dry looked like they had been sitting in warmer for a while and battered sausage was sponges very chewy and horrid flavor to the sausage . Toilets disgusting mens out of order and women's not been cleaned in ages . Child seating also not been cleaned or washed .will not be going again. 1-10

Awful food! This restaurant used to be a favorite in Liverpool. I recently visited both branches and had the same disappointing experience. It's evident that there has been a change in ownership or management - the restaurant is understaffed and overpriced. The food is terrible, almost inedible. The kebab meat was reheated in clumps on a hot plate and the chips were hard enough to break your teeth. You will definitely regret spending money here!

"We were celebrating a birthday and a happy birthday card was placed on the table adding a nice touch to the experience. Food The tasting menu was excellent and the food was packed full of flavour. "Ordered grilled platter for two for our dinner tonight.There was so much !!!!Enough for us to enjoy for our lunch tomorrow.I made a mistake with the on line order but I rang the restaurant immediately and was able to cancel and reorder the correct meal.Dips, bread and salad were fresh and tasty and all the rest was well cooked and presented.I have eaten in the Poseidon on a number of occasions and the takeaway food is exactly the same excellent standard as the food served in the restaurant.Thank you Poseidon for a most enjoyable and excellent value for money meal."

"visits Easter Sunday. have the three cursor Sunday afternoon roast dinner, suppe of the day (bäck/tomaten) brownie, which was a great worth (approx. £16 for 3 courses.) eating was delicious, tasteful and nutritious. the best Brat dinner we've ever had, and a good amount of gravy! we had to get the brownies to be gone as we were filled. also some smoothies. the personal was so lovely, friendly and helpful (the smoothie changed to take allergies) the decor was beautiful and we enjoyed trying the cards (Oracle cards etc.) they visit here a lot if we were native updated by previous review on 2022-04-18"

"I had a wonderful experience at this charming little Greek restaurant. The staff was attentive and we were served quickly. The dishes were expertly prepared, and the flavors in the sauce were simply outstanding. Everything was just right—not too much and not too little. Even the chips were among the best I've ever had! While the portion sizes may seem a bit small, the richness of the food ensured that it was more than enough. We also enjoyed starters with our meals, and I highly recommend trying the traditional dishes. The restaurant has a lovely, clean decor and a warm atmosphere. It was a vibrant and light-filled summer evening, and I can't wait to return!"

"I have to admit I throughly enjoyed my breakfast! I've been to many cafe/restaurants and have had breakfast/brunch, but this has to be the best by far! I couldn't fault it! My eggs was done exactly how I like them, hash brown was just right!The service was good, the waiter was very patient with me bless her). We enjoyed it so much we came back the next day for lunch. It was the same standards, we did had to wait a bit longer on the second day, but we did move tables and was a little indecisive on what we wanted. The music is decent at a good a level which you can still hear your companion with out shouting and not hear the other tables conversation which I generally hate). Dale's Street Kitchen was clean and very comfortable. On both visits, staff and management were welcoming and accommodating. My only negative if I really had to find one, is there is only one toilet, which can be abit annoying as they're a busy restaurant and if your bursting that could be a problem. For those who gave it one or two stars are clearly really pretty people and you can't please everyone! Whenever I'm back in Liverpool I will 100% go back."
