"Amazing experience, thank you. Waitress was very knowledgeable of the area and beyond, so gave us, as tourists very valuable advice. The food- well where do I start? Lush! Fresh! Modern! Healthy! I ordered Oriental Beauty tea. It arrived in a clear glass with a real flower to douse in the hot water to infuse. Tasted delightful. The food I ordered was divine. Fresh, home baked bread, home made baked beans and well the haggis and black pud was my first experience and judging from this, I will eat haggis again. Thank you for making our short stay so memorable. 5stars"

"a great place to stay after our walk on the great glen wayz, we had lunch and dinner there because it was so good! risotto and steam were delicious. how was the cracker, though more fish in the crack would have been brilliant! the bedroom (annex) was wonderful with a heated towel rail, tw, hot chocolate biscuits, amazing tee (passion fruit and black) and coffee. the personal was beautiful! the next morning when we had a 6 o'clock to get to inverness, they let us have some bowls and spoons so we could have breakfast before leaving in our rooms! would definitely recommend this place. you can also see the employment of young locals in the restaurant!"

"Lovely restaurant, beautiful food... so good we can here 2 consecutive nights. Need to book in advance as its usually busy. Lovely mains and the sticky toffee pudding is delightful. Only downside was on the second night when we sat near the bar and there was about 5 young workers all stood next to us chatting and felt like they were waiting to clear up after us, so felt we needed to hurry a little. Maybe ask staff to not stand in groups near tables? But other than that, can't fault it. Would definitely visit again and just sit at another table."

"The ambiance in this quaint coffee shop was a warm welcome on a rainy day. From the full highland breakfast, to the kids French toast, to the best vanilla latte I've had in Scotland (from New York), this place does a fantastic job. The food was excellent and the workers were cheery and helpful (we brought 4 children). I would highly recommend Cafe Eighty2 to anyone coming in or going out of town. We will drive through again just to come back!"

"After exploring the castle and grounds, my husband and I decided to have a coffee and a light meal. He ordered a muffin and coffee, while I chose soup and coffee. When I received my soup in a take-out container and opened it outside, I was shocked to find a very small amount of soup inside. I returned to the counter and asked if this was the correct portion for £5.90. The young girl working behind the till apologized and explained that their policy was to only give one ladle of soup. I expressed my disappointment at the small portion for the price, and she agreed it was not enough. Therefore, I would advise against ordering the soup if you are hungry."
