"I can't stress how amazing this restaurant is. we came from birmingham and looked for a place to eat so, we went randomly on google to search for restaurants and came over this. the position of him perfect, I love how it is in the middle of a park. the man who served us was so sweet and friendly that is something that I will never forget, he made sure that we were good all our time there and even put a portable heating next to us to make sure we stay warm. the food was nice, thanks to the cook, the decor inside is beautiful, all about it makes it so welcome. I have never found such a place before me and will be visited again in summer. Thank you again."

"It's a rare restaurant which will give you that feeling of welcome, superb freshly cooked food, a wonderful ambience and owners who are real characters. OGGI Simply Italian is one of those. It's a great independent restaurant on London Road and we had an excellent time there. What can I say about Rino? He's a great guy! Very attentive, warm and friendly. Plus the added bonus of hearing a couple of Elvis numbers from him! All in all, a lovely experience and one we will certainly want to repeat."

"Given a table in the window, felt like goldfish everyone passing by looking in. Food was average not sure the about hype in the press. Ordered Veg karahi, when the order came it was veg korma it was too late to send back after we had taken curry in our plate. It was mentioned at the end when the waiter came to pick up our plates that we were given wrong curry. Albeit the waiter did take the cost of the wrong curry off the bill. Our overall opinion was the food is very average in taste."

"My Fiancé and I visited, our best restaurant experience in Leicester to date. Very easy online booking. Customer service- Outstanding, Taste- Explosion. 10/10 Perfect dining experience, our best in Leicester yet. Upon entrance to the restaurant, we were greeted warmly by staff and were able to take our names and escorted us directly to our seats. Ordering was very convenient, starters arrived within 5-10min of ordering. Drinks and platters came before that. By the time we finished starters, our mains were around 10 minutes from this time. As photographed, all was presented with immaculate care, staff constantly checking in that everything is ok with the food and service. Despite the busy Saturday night crowds, the service was exceptional and we truly felt appreciated as customers. I would highly recommend this restaurant."

"We were a group of 5 and had vegetarian/ vegan dietary requirements and allergy to seasme. Tina was a lovely and bubbly host who was excellent at making sure all of the food was prepared to specification. The dishes came very quickly, well priced, were presented nicely and were well balanced in terms of flavour and heat (spice), hats off to the chef!! We ordered: Veg dumpling (boiled) Vegetable Noodles chowmein without seasme Bamboo rice Stir fried green beans with dried chilli Kungpo tofu with peanut sauce Salt and pepper tofu Plain Rice The ambience of the restaraunt was peaceful with soft music in the background. The decor was exquisite, rooted in tradition and culture with hand woven tapestry. Tina very kindly shared her knowledge of the various teas and flavour palletes and consistently made sure the pot of tea was full and flowing throughout the evening. Would recommend and will be going again! Thank you Tina and team!"
