This is an intriguing pub with a lively atmosphere, frequented by many seafarers. They offer a great selection of Adams ales, making it a fantastic little spot. I would definitely visit again. Speisekarte ansehen

Charming pub with an excellent variety of beers, particularly Adnams. I only stopped by for drinks, but it’s worth noting that it's dog-friendly, which I appreciate, even though I don't own a dog. The service was outstanding. Price per person: £1–10. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 5/5.

During challenging times, we received a warm welcome at this lovely pub. It was quite busy when we visited on Saturday afternoon, but we were able to secure a table. The gentleman behind the bar was very friendly. They offer a great selection of ales, including Adnams, and the wine was also excellent. Well done! Speisekarte ansehen

The pub features a front room and a cozy side area that seats eight at two tables. There’s also a collection of cartoons by Norfolk cartoonist Tony Hall displayed on the walls. To the right of the bar, there’s an outdoor seating area near the entrance, but we were quite content sitting in the tranquil area to the left of the bar.

I would love this pub as my local. When it is quieter during the week and out of season, it is a great reminder of what pubs used to be like, people chatting to each other, dogs a sleep under tables and good ale. Only trouble is it's where everybody wants to be on a summers weekend evening. Hey ho can't have everything. Still a bit of a cracker.

A little day trip in southwold and we stumbled across this great pub.. Very welcoming atmosphere which is always nice. Staff are really helpful and easy to talk too .. The food is slightly pricey but you definitely get a quality bit of posh pub grub. On site herb and chill garden in which they use with all their cooking which personally I thought was amazing and really enhances the flavour... The pizza we ordered tasted delicious and the loaded fries was definitely loaded. I like the fact the pub has kept its original character and does not come across as a over the top gastro pub.
