What a wonderful addition! The drinks and coffee are excellent, and the interior is stunning. They offer fantastic options for gluten-free diets as well. The staff is not only understanding but also incredibly kind!

We thoroughly enjoyed the 'Wednesday Steak night '. There were some lovely touches that made the evening special. First visit to The Monk, and it was superb. There were two vegans in our party of three and it was so nice to have a couple of creative choices that were delicious. Beautiful place, very cosy atmosphere, everyone there is really friendly, the drinks menu is very extensive. We both really enjoyed all three courses, the baked oysters were my highlight. Came for Sunday lunch for my mums 60th. The food was of high quality, offering one of the best Sunday roasts in Leicestershire. The prices were very reasonable for the courses, and there was a wide variety of drinks available on the menu. This was my first visit, and I met friends for a Sunday lunch. We arrived 45 minutes early for our table, but it wasn't a problem as we wanted to enjoy a couple of pints first. They had Cruz Campo and Camden Pale on draft. We all ordered three courses, and the food was excellent. The service was prompt, thanks to the lovely and friendly waitresses. The owner was very welcoming and appreciated our business. With great beer, delicious food, and attentive service, there was really nothing to complain about. I look forward to coming back soon.
