Lovely, friendly pub with great food and nice service, worth a visit if in the area. The food is reasonably priced too.

looks like a local for locals. the service was 40 minutes slow to give them our order. eating was really good, but only the service left the place.

Possible a little more attention should be given to the web site information. Saturday night was obviously a curry based evening . No offering was made of the samples on the opening web site page.

Catalan fish stew must be tasted its just goddess. actually the whole menu is fabulous, beautifully prepared. and mark behind the bar is a joviale beautiful chap. can not recommend this place enough.

We absolutely love the Moon and Mushroom… food is excellent..such a lovely choice and expertly prepared and the service cannot be faulted. Lovely staff .. nothing is too much trouble. Can’t wait to go back again.

what a beautiful place! eating was fantastic! really friendly and beautiful staff too! that is my idea of a real country pubs. Of course I can not recommend this place very well enough and we will return safely soon.

Beautiful country pub /restaurant in lovely setting . The food was excellent great fresh vegetables with the roast. Party of 8 all with different tastes and we all had our fill the deserts were delicious and very different I had ginger sponge with ice cream yum. Good ambiance and service . Easter Sunday treat thank you .x

We had high expectations for this lunch and it unfortunately did not live up to them. The staff were friendly and helpful but the menu was very limited with mostly heavily spiced dishes with no fish or salads, and only one vegetarian option. The deserts were all stodgy pudding based. Our main course was very poorly presented and lukewarm. We would not go back unfortunately.
