Cracking Sunday roast Had everything’s really tasty, Yorkshire pudding was big and crispy Staff were great didn’t cost the earth really reasonably priced Couldn’t fault a think Thank you staff and hat of to the chef

Avoid. Rooms are grubby and falling apart, lots of water damage and mould. Food downstairs is terrible and service is very very slow. Charging £130 a night for this place is theft. Really tarnished our family holiday.

Had a lovely lunch at the Old Colonial. The food was quick and hot and lots of choice on the menu. We were looked after by Lee who was helpful and friendly. Don’t let the outside of the pub put you off. We had a lovely time, we will be back

The pub serves decent food with a good variety on the menu. There are some great deals available during the week and they are also dog friendly. Wait times for food may be a bit long during busy periods, but chatting with friends can help pass the time quickly.

A lovely seafront pub with average food. We’ve ordered a burger and scampi with chips. It took ages to get our food and they didn’t get it right neither. We’ve paid for the extras but never got it. Despite that the view from the beer garden was actually worth it.

The restaurant was very clean with incredibly friendly and delightful staff. The food was exceptional, especially for a vegetarian like myself. It can be hard to find a good place to eat as a vegetarian, but this restaurant was a perfect 10 for me. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it.

I would just like tk say thankyou tk the manager for resolving the problem with our meals from the previous day,look forward to seeing you again and eating in your bar Well I did write this on the understanding thd manager was going to offer us 4 meals to make up for the disgusting ones we had back in July,which he said the good will gesture would be valued for the next 12 months,but upto yet havnt received anything .

Oh dear came hear a few years ago and had poor food, Thought we would try it again for Sunday lunch. Ordered two at 1.20pm. At 1.50 I asked about the food waitress said 'you will get it when its ready '! It came 10 minutes later so maybe my request had moved it along! How disappointing! two small pieces of turkey, one roast potato yes one! one small Yorkshire pudding one piece of Broccoli a few slices of carrot, some cranberry sauce and gravy. For £23 it was extremely bad value for money. Never again!!

After waiting two weeks for a response to the problems we had I feel I now have to write this review. Having arrived at the hotel the check in was fine although the person checking us in seemed a little frazzled but he was quite clearly understaffed so I can ignore that. We had a family room and it left a lot to be desired. Peeling wallpaper water marks mild in the bathroom and doors falling off. As it was only for one night we let that go although on reflection we probably should have said something.
