Excellent service delightful staff and good food. What more can one say? I shall be back. It is particularly useful when going to the cricket

Nice folks, quiet and clean, small enough. A good place to kill a couple of hours. And a few ales. Smokers will be happy too, as there is a small outdoor patio where they can enjoy.

Burger served up on a dirty looking piece of wood, chips in a nasty looking piece of tin and you had to a little jar of salt to share. Yuk. The food was ok but the presentation was poor .whats wrong with proper plates?

I'd been to the Oval before for breakfast and had really enjoyed it, but was disappointed this time round.For the price I paid I expected better quality, especially in London, it was no better then a greasy spoon which cost me over £10!Will be going elsewhere in future.

1 star is the least I can give, but if I could it would be zero. The venue itself looks cute and tidy and the drinks seem fine, but the value for money is completely shocking, especially when thinking of the food.Gastro pub prices for cafe/greasy spoon food. These people are still there only because it's one of a handful of places in Oval one can go to if they don't want to eat at a chicken shop.Shame.

Stumbled across this place with friends when our original breakfast plans didn't work out.. and I'm glad we did!Good location right near the stationThe place had a nice atmosphere and the staff were really friendlyBreakfast was great, amongst us we had the eggs benedict, full English and pancakes and everyone enjoyed their meals.Service was quick and I couldn't fault the place to be honestWill definitely be returning and would highly recommend

Really impressed. After having a string of bad deliveries in recent months I'm so glad I tried this restaurant. Can't comment on everything but I Ordered: chips which were great, chunky! Cheeseburger, which was tailored to my liking and cooked to my request. I also ordered a cola which I was pleased to find came in a glass bottle and not a can which I prefer, and also ordered a hot chocolate which really nice, very sweet but I did get cream and marshmallows and was still delivered hot. Also the restaurant checked my additional note requesting some sauces and they provided this free of charge. Haven't left many reviews but am very impressed with this order tonight. Happy customer

I've been here a few times for coffee as I'm new to the area but decided to try the food on my last visit with some friends. I'm certainly glad I did! The Oval Burger (not the shape, the name) was an excellent and properly hand made affair, cooked medium with just a hit of mustard in the mixture. Complimented by well cooked and seasoned fries, it certainly did the job of filling me up after a day at work. The place has an eclectic music playlist and I was captivated by the big screen which, for reasons unknown, was showing an episode of classic 70's children's telly, Bagpuss! Staff are all very friendly, service is quick, but not pushy and you're definitely made to feel welcome. Now I've mov...
