"This is a beautiful, spacious, rustic pub and restaurant that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, whether you choose to sit in the two winter gardens or on the newly expanded terrace. The dining experience here is always excellent, and I’m pleased to see that the menu has expanded. I recently tried the BBQ spare ribs, and they did not disappoint—the meat fell off the bone and was absolutely delicious! The staff is very friendly, and the table service is excellent. There is plenty of parking available, and it's dog-friendly too."

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The staff is wonderful and the service is outstanding. Their homemade nachos are the best I've ever had. I've never left disappointed after a meal here.

It's been a good few years since I've eaten there. The staff were as friendly as ever,and the menu was fresh and vibrant with plenty of different dishes to choose from. I ended up being a bit of a pig. Would definitely eat there again

The atmosphere at this restaurant is really pleasant, and the staff is very friendly. They even came to my table to discuss my fungal allergy, which I appreciated. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. I will definitely be coming back again—it's truly worth a visit!

great place for a lazy lunch on the afternoon sunshine today. the staff was friendly and attentive (without being pushed), eating was good and the environment at the rande of the landscape is very pleasant. we had a reservation outside, but when we were there, we were told we could sit everywhere, so I wonder if we had luck, there were some tables available, as there were no reservation signs.

I used to come here all the time with my parents growing up but I haven 't been for years! We turned up on spec and we 're pleased to find a table at tea time on a Sunday evening. We both ordered cheese and onion pie and my husband pimped his chips with pulled pork and cheese. The food was good value as well as tasty and filling and the surroundings were very comfortable. The cosy lighting and a toasty log fire were very welcome. Will definitely visit again.
