I visited this restaurant for a meal before a New Year's Eve event. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

The restaurant is good and delivers what it promises. It is functional, with a good selection of beer and wine. The food is decent.

Had a brilliant day out accompanied by welcoming friendly staff, good drinks in a clean venue. Great value for money and would highly recommend to everyone. Speisekarte ansehen

Pre show meal. Thursday is grill night, no items from grill available. This is a pub I dine at regularly, what is going on? Please don't allow a popular pub to become an also ran.

Lunchtime visit in twixtmas. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Food was tasty and arrived soon after ordering. Standard drinks offering. The venue looks tired though, and in need of some tlc.

The DJ at the restaurant on Saturday night played great music but only played a quarter of each song. It seemed like he had a short attention span and couldn't wait to transition to the next song. It was quite frustrating. Speisekarte ansehen

The manager was confrontational when the customer complained about a small portion of chicken (3 chicken nuggets for £6). Despite being a small family with kids, the manager refused to serve them after they requested a refund for the overpriced meal. The rest of the food was good and the other staff members were friendly, but the manager lacked customer service skills.

My partner and I came to this restaurant for lunch and ordered our usual, the chicken and bacon melt. However, the cheese on the dish was different than before, more like nacho cheese, which was too much for us. My partner is not a fan of cheese, so I asked if we could get a new chicken with just BBQ sauce. The server, Amy, refused to make the change, saying there was nothing wrong with the dish. I explained that the cheese on the old menu was melted and milder, but she became aggressive and unhelpful. Another staff member confirmed that Amy has had similar incidents with other customers. We have been in here numerous times and on Saturday 22 July we had a shocking visit where we were told by the manager that as a group of 8 or 10 men we were too loud when playing pool. The second time he came over he was rude, arrogant and unprofessional. On leaving I asked him for his name, he refused to tell me. I asked who owned the pub.... He said he did.... personally! Because of his refusal to give his name I took my phone out to take a picture.... And he snatched my phone out of my hand and refused to give it me back... A friend had to snatch it back from him. What on earth is happening in this pub, .. The pub is run by the Stonegate Group and I have made a formal complaint. Unbelieva... Speisekarte ansehen
