Highly recommend this pub, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food was great, well done poachers

Usually have salmon when I come to the Poachers Pocket but noticed they now do See Bass, and I wasn't disappointed, lovely meal as always

It was my mother's birthday, and the restaurant helped me plan a lovely surprise for her, making the day even more special. I truly adore this place and would definitely return. It is good value for money, not too expensive, and the service is personal and welcoming.

I absolutely adore this welcoming pub. I visit frequently throughout the day with both family and friends. The food is impeccable, and they are more than willing to accommodate any additional requests such as extra gravy or butter. The atmosphere is very family-friendly, and Tony, Lorraine, and their staff are the driving force behind its success.

I was shocked when my family from Liverpool came to visit and we went to Poachers for a meal. I wasn't aware that we had to register our car and my son was charged £100 for parking. I felt guilty because my family came to see me. It was a disgusting situation and I understand why they have this policy, but as a pensioner I was not prepared for it. I told him to send me the details so I could pay, as I felt bad for him.

Had a brilliant afternoon at the Poachers Pocket. Lovely roast dinner which was really good, great portion sizes, hot food and was thoroughly enjoyed. Isn’t the first time we’ve eaten here so knew it would be good We had a few drinks in the bar after and it was a great atmosphere football was on, lots of people and a really enjoyable afternoon. Thanks to all the staff for making sure we had everything we needed and for being friendly and welcoming. A little shout out to Toni (I hope I spelt that right) who was the manager I believe she welcomed us in and was obviously making sure that everything was running smoothly (which it was) , which meant everyone was happy and having a good time!
