Omg one of the best meals we've had! The meat fruit was definitely a must and was so goodThe service here is on par.

Having previously been to Fat duck Heston steak house is very different much more casual with a bar at the entrance.

Ironically I decided to have lunch at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, mostly because I found it to be a much better value compared to dinner for essentially Speisekarte ansehen

The haggis here is beautiful, served with a wonderfully pink loin of venison. My favourite course was the cullen skink an interpretation really, served like a croquette with scallops. Lovely.

it was as jay rayner says ‘an essay in the finer points of dull’. it only occurred to be later that the set course has a notable absence of ribs. that’s a bit like going to steakhouse that serves a set lunch without steak.

the rib room seems to be a very classic English restaurant, well made. in the night they were very busy, but the service was still attentive. the bar selection is impressive and I am sure that all drinks preferences can be met. we had scallop on boar bell for starter, duck and steak for net with kartoffels and buzz on the side. we have a Sharing plate to dessert. amazing eating and went happy and full after home. the rib room bar restaurant is located in the heart of knightsbridge, at the corner of the sloane street and cadogan place – for over 55 years feeding and entertaining customers and visiting this city. from the sloane street you cannot miss the restaurant located on the front of the jumeriah carlton tower hotel. enter the restaurant and discover the most magnificent marble top bar for cocktails, plough green leather chairs and decadent mirror walls. it is all very gentlemans club inside, with a nod on the classic American steakhouse.

Surprisingly excellent food. The beef (Aberdeen Angus) was absolutely exceptional, probably the best I have had in months. The combination of the rump and slow cooked cheek allowed tasting to completely different ways of cooking beef ... both very very tasty, really outstanding. Interesting smoked quail breast with apple consommé. also great deserts, mainly the Apple crumble soufflé. We booked the London Restaurant Festival menu, which for 29 pound/person was impressive value. I guess they also have a lunch menu of similar price, not sure if with similar dishes. If they want to feel like they want to get on the set of a james bond film set, they need to visit it. blooming brilliance is up to the 2nd august 2015, but don't let them stop visiting it. we sat in the rib room for a drink that already felt like a secret spy and ordered a martini, not stirred, but unfortunately it comes so that I could not say the iconic line. the martini with an orange was shaken a beautiful drink for me, during my wonderful stay at the bar too sip. we talked to rihards, the barman who was a fountain of knowing about the hotel and every cocktail and drinking behind the bar. he introduced us...read more Speisekarte ansehen
