"Having eaten here once before and really enjoyed it, we thought we 'd give it another try. The ambiance and décor were great and the staff were friendly. Initial drinks were quickly ordered and delivered. Even though the restaurant was only about one third full, service then became very slow. Even when we finally managed to order, the food then seemed to take ages to arrive. One vegetarian dish was tasty although a bit sparse and the hake (described as served with a sauce) was more like a piece of fish swimming in a lukewarm liquid. We passed on the desert as we thought that it would take too long. Disappointing."

"Es sieht so aus, als hätte der Pub neue Besitzer, da es viel ruhiger war als damals, als wir dort waren. Die Starter brauchten ein Alter, um anzukommen, aber als sie es taten, waren sie gut. Die Hauptmahlzeit war enttäuschend, mit dem Rindfleisch auf zwei der vier Mahlzeiten hart und unterkocht. Der Manager erklärte, dass sie einen neuen Koch hatten und reduzierte die Getränkekosten, entfernte die Kosten für eine Flasche Wein und einige der Biere und entfernte eines der Hauptgerichte von der Rechnung. Insgesamt eine enttäuschende Erfahrung, da wir das hohe Niveau an Essen und Ambiente erwartet hatten"

"Excellent food. However, the short frog looking waiter was extremely racist. I went to dine at this restaurant last night with 4 friends. We are not from the area and had to travel over an hour to get to this restaurant. When we arrived, there...was no social distancing in place. The restaurant was cramped and it was rather busy with diners sitting very close to each other. The waiter took forever to serve us and we completely understood why due to short staffed. My friends and I were talking in our language. The waiter that served us were extremly polite and took our order. At the end of our meal, we asked another waiter for desserts. He said we were too busy talking in our language and then mimicked an impression of what we were sounding like. We didn't much notice and we didn't say much at this point. Then when the bill came, the waiter walked passed us mimicking how we were sounding like. Then one of friends asked him if he had an issue with us. He said he was singing. As this point the restaurant noise level went quiet. One old white man turned around and shouted why don't you go home We all know what this comment meant. In the end of all of this we were made to be the issue by both the restaurant staff and the public. I"

"Live in tvdzarsz and thff position is convenient. The staff are clueless. You can stand and wait to be seated for ages while the place is not busy and tech are talking amongst themselves. The cakes are great but the food in general is big particularly nice. The coffee is also a bit grim. The place seems to have no one in charge and while the staff are nice, they are very drippy and do not seem to have an eye on their customers. Trying to catch their eye is exhausting. I have given up going there now. Been giving it a lot of chances over the past four years and it doesn’t improve. In fact it seems to be going down hill rapidly. Still gets busy though because you can buy a glass of wine on the high street without having go to a pub or formal restaurant. A frustrating place with a log of potential."

"I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered the special house chow mein and was disappointed to find that there was no chicken or prawn in sight. The dish was mostly noodles with small pieces of tough beef and greasy pork fat. The ginger chicken was slightly better, but the portion was small and filled with inexpensive vegetables. Additionally, I was surprised to find that the egg fried rice did not actually contain any egg. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant."
