"We stayed for one night Bed and Breakfast and it was absolutely outstanding. They had upgraded our room which was such a wonderful surprise, it had a four poster bed and was furnished to a very high standard. The food was excellent, the landlady went out of her way to look after us and even decorated up for my birthday and gave me a complimentary drink. We had such an amazing time and I left my charger by mistake, Jane took the time to ring us and inform us so we went back and ended up staying for a roast dinner which was exceptional. As soon as we can we will be returning. Would highly recommend staying here or just eating here."

I was here at the weekend to prepare for my high time and for my high-time night. eating was fantastic and all the workers were beautiful. the rooms were of a very high standard and we will definitely use again. x x x x

fantastic rural village pub. I went for a storm around calke abbey area and had a thirst, so I called into this facility for a beautiful pint of cider. I think the renter helped me and she was very kind. I'll try this pub again and the next time I'll try to eat it.

3 of us all had cakes, the bark meat, the fish and the special duck and cranberry. Meals were nice at home made cake and served so hot it had to cool a bit before eating what was great. service with a smile of beautiful employees. 2 stayed overnight in a stunning 'home' room. will definitely go back. well done to get a little out of the way!
