The Summerhouse - Speisekarte

we had brunch on Sunday. the eier benedikt and the avocado lachs sandwich were well prepared. the service was a bit slow, but the view of the channel were relaxing.

from all places at the canal grande union for the summer this is one of the most beautiful places. beautiful feeling, good eating and a nice selection of beer etc. they must turn off this place!

The Ticolore was also pleasing to the eye as the mozzarella, avocado and tomatoes were spread fan like into a perfect circle. Both lunch dishes were so light and refreshing; simple yet so well done.

OK – this place isn’t entirely outdoors, but almost! Set on the canal in Warwick Ave, this nautical themed restaurant is a lovely, bright, airy place to watch the boats go by whilst enjoying a delicious meal. I’m pretty lucky to be able to call this place my local, I’ll be heading here at least once this Summer!

The summerhouse is located in Little Venice overlooking the grand union canal. This delightful setting is the perfect backdrop for an excellent menu with delicious food and ample portions complete the picture. The wine list is well thought out complementing the excellent food. The staff are helpfull with out being overbearing but are always available if you need anything This is a 9/10 restaurant

Beautiful setting. Very romantic atmosphere, sat by window overlooking the canal. unfortunately, it was one of the coldest days in february when the canal was iced over. the restaurant did however provide blankets, but that didn't stop me from losing feeling in my feet! had a seafood platter with smoked salmon for starters. seafood was ok, but the salmon melted in my mouth. i had the sea bass for main course, which was reasonable. the apple and rhubarb crumble was delicious.

eating in the summer house in little venice is like a trip to nantucket, but in london. Supported along the regent’s canal, in the summer months it is a nice place for an affordable brunch and they make a common **** mary if they want to make it a boozy. they have a beautiful small lounge area where they often see a local seat with a coffee and a book on Sunday morning. the dinner is somewhat more formal/priced, but the fish-heavy menu is refreshing and beautiful for a special night outside.

perched channel side in little venice, the restaurant has a casual but chic nautical thema with a really family-friendly atmosphere. during the Saturday lunch service, the restaurant flourished, full of families and friends happily gather for a bite to eat. our small group was treated with three cures of quite classic dressed, simply in taste and generous in size. Nestled next to the canal on one of Maida Vale’s prettiest roads sits The Summerhouse, a delightful restaurant with a strong nautical theme in both style and menu, which works perfectly harmoniously due to the immediate the presence of the canal, with barges lazily drifting along past the windows. Along with the view and the complimentary spritz, our meal got off to a great start. We shared the crispy seafood platter which consisted of fish goujons, deep fried squid and deep fried prawns.
