"We have dined at this restaurant numerous times while our son was at University, and we always make sure to return when we are back in town. It has consistently been a great spot for delicious food at a good price, with friendly staff that provide excellent service. We have tried several dishes, but we always find ourselves coming back to our favorite loaded fries. We can't wait to enjoy our next meal here on our next visit to Dundee. Pooped in for a drink,never seen such a bad pint, cloudy and stuff floating in the bottom, when were the pipes last cleaned, won't be back

Not a very nice place. The smell from the toilets is shocking. Barmaid was rather clumsy, spilt a whole pint as she was serving it to my husband.

This might be our favorite pub food we've had in Dundee so far! I decided to try the large loaded fries, thinking that the price meant it was a big portion for one person... but I was pleasantly surprised! For less than £10, I got a generous portion of loaded fries that was like a mountain. The boys ordered a burger and a ciabatta, and everyone was satisfied and happy with their meal.

we were looking for a dog friendly place to lunch and tinsmith not disappointed. there was a game and students, so it was a bit loud and the dog hid under our table. the personal brought a bowl of water for him and made sure he was well. tbh it is not often seen they are a big dune trying to sit under a stand-style table with 4 people to hide it! the food was good and the service excellent. 4 stars because it was loud, otherwise we were very happy.
