"Its great that places are now opening up again, and we've always liked the volunteer. It wasn't a great experience this time though when we arrived to an empty beer garden we were told we couldn't choose where we sat, despite all the tables being the same. The food wasn't great the chicken burger appeared to be a couple of deep fried goujons in a bun, pretty much what you'd expect from a burger van. It was lovely to be out and about again and have a nice draft beer, and the service was OK, but as we hopefully get back to some sort of normal they'll have to raise their game on food quality"

Very tasty fish and chips and burgers. Service was very friendly and welcoming. We had a nice table in the bar and the fire was on.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in a beautiful setting, and they make delicious pizzas and serve amazing beer. I used to come here often in the past, and now I plan on making it a regular spot for me.
