The White Horse - Speisekarte

Lots of space and very stylishly decorated. Service and food was excellent, good veggie options. Good value for money, good portion sizes.

Normally this place is ok for a nice roast. On this occasion I had the prawn linguine which was definitely the wrong choice rubbery prawns pretty tasteless. Service a bit sleepy as well. Anyway better luck next time.

The service at this restaurant is exceptional, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough. The wine list is lovely and the staff are very accommodating of any request. Speisekarte ansehen

Have eaten here before several times with family. Very unhappy about the portion sizes in particular one of our table ordered halibut Pan fried halibut, lobster tortellini, seafood bisque, salmon caviar 24.95 BUT the portion was so small it was embarrasing very tiny piece of over cooked halibut the size of 1.5 fish fingers pathetic. We will never return here again. David

A last minute decision to eat here ! We looked at the menu and thought it looked inviting. I had the king prawn garlic starter my wife to be the salt and pepper squid … both were perfectly cooked and very tasty. Always one for a good steak we both had the ribeye which was cooked perfectly with delicious chips and a salad mix which included pickled porcini type mushrooms and a delicious tomato with a garlic topping. Great service and will definitely return again

Fernando and his team took excellent care of our party of 14 for lunch on Saturday, December 11th. They paid incredible attention to detail and provided excellent food and service. The occasion was important to us, and everything exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely fantastic. Our group had a mix of carnivores, vegetarians, and vegans, and all dietary preferences were accommodated with delicious food served promptly. The staff was very friendly and we wanted for nothing. My mother and I visited white horse two nights in a row for dinner. All the staff we encountered were friendly and smiley, making the whole experience pleasant. A minor hiccup with our order was handled by the staff brilliantly, genuine apology and rectified instantly cannot praise them enough. The new menu food is delightful. Can’t fault the scallop and chorizo starter, or the Halibut main. Delicious. And the option to order a half size dessert is brilliant. Will definitely be back soon!

We called in for a lunch Friday. It was too hot to eat outside so we went inside only to find the manager on a zoom meeting shouting at her screen. We had to move further in the restaurant so we couldn’t hear her droning on. Our meal was OK, slightly salty which spoilt it slightly. Typical Beaconsfield prices, £60 for 2 meals and beer/coffee quite an expensive lunch. Unbelievably 1 hour later, on our way out the manager was still shouting at her laptop. If the management doesn’t know how to behave what chance have the staff got.

One evening in Beaconsfield, we were searching for a place to have dinner, and after finding that other restaurants had stopped accepting diners, we were pleased to find that The White Horse was still open to serve us. Despite its small appearance from the front, the restaurant extends far back, making it quite spacious inside. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and the quality of the food was excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. If we find ourselves in the area again, we would certainly return to dine at The White Horse. Speisekarte ansehen
