amazing eating and great service. the children loved to play in the pub garden while we sat and ate. they have made the pizza, home and fantastic. we're coming back!

Had a fab meal after a good walk. I had a steak this time, really well cooked (rare) with peppercorn sauce and a really good pint of Tea (Tongham English Ale). Then the desert trolley, which you do not want to miss!!

I had an amazing dining experience with incredibly attentive and friendly staff. They recommended the steaks and pizzas from Woolpack, and they were absolutely delicious. I will definitely tell my family and friends to try it for themselves!

This was my first visit to this lovely pub, and I was thoroughly impressed. The Sunday roast was hot, fresh, and delicious. The dessert cart is simply amazing. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place, and it certainly won't be my last visit.

Just got back from a lovely sunday lunch at The Woolpack, it's a great Carvery I must say, the staff were very friendly and helpful too, my friend had the fish n chips which she said was lovely , we shared two starters the breaded Camembert and the mushrooms and wished we'd had one each because they were so tasty, I had the roast Lamb and it was all very delish, we will definitely be going back and hopefully quite soon , I fully recommend to any foody....

This is a beautiful and friendly pub where the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We arrived a bit too late to eat, but the staff were nothing but understanding. The food is extraordinary, with a large menu and special nights like steak night and fishing night, making this pub a must-visit. There is also a great selection of beers, apple wines, and a varied wine list that complements the overall experience. The Woolpack was the first pub to offer the locally produced Thundry Hills gin, which is another excellent reason to stop by. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to my next visit!

Booked here for a lunch to celebrate my father-in-law 's 92nd birthday. Always a challenge to find somewhere with a menu to satisfy all in the group but this did it. 2 of the chef 's specials were tried. The King prawn and salmon pasta (very good) and the liver and bacon (excellent with particular mention to the perfectly steamed veg as well as the great meat). The fish and chips went down a treat and 'the birthday boy 's ' ham, egg and chips was greatly appreciated.
