"It was a somber evening the Locarno film festival had greatly disappointed me , after the hotel had packed my belongings and sold my room i sought a peaceful oasis and destiny landed me in Bellinzona, or as it is often called "the meditative town", i was charmed by the history, the ancient castles, i wanted to stay and play princess but alas no room was available for the dog and i at the super saver youth hostel which would have been my first choice, great location, in a former monastry, bike rentals, but no dogs allowed...next to the youth hostel is a bed and breakfast in a chinese restaurantso in great irony the dog and i sought shelter there..the proprieter was a formidable chinese lady who ruled over a timid husband and a teenage daughter and all beings..she demanded cash in hand and not a small sum 80 swiss franks for a night in a nightmarethe shower door fell , the door would not lock, the matress seemed to be made up of stuffed socks and every bit of sound echoed ...The breakfast was dry white bread and jam...and green tea and a frown from the Chinese lady. I took a towel as i was planning to go bath in the river but before i could return it the Chinese lady took me aside for a talk about taking towels from the hotel..In short it is a place out of some apocalyptic film about being imprisoned in a Chinese fortress.The owner of the restaurant clearly did not invest a rappen ( a swiss cent) in keeping the placethe shower smelled and fell apartthe bed was not a bed the door to the room did not lock and the sad look of the husband and daughter being ordered about in Mandarin Chinese took me back to the page of "the good earth" by Pearl Buck when the poor farmers were just about to revolt against the hunger...I came out of there with a sigh of relief and i dont know which one of us felt more of a relief leaving the place behind us the dog , grateful not to be served as dinner, or i, grateful i was able to escape the tyranny of the proprieter...I am unable to rate this place, it belongs in my worst nightmare and every night since seems like a lucky escape ..I recommend sleeping in a park bench if the youth hostel does not take you and the hotels are full or too expensive"

Die Besitzer stammen aus Vietnam, aber das Essen ist gut. Wir haben einen Abend mit 4 Personen verbracht und eine sehr gute Mahlzeit genossen.

It is a restaurant where Chinese dishes are available, but I think it is not quite culinary for this cuisine, dishes are really too expensive and ingredients do not reflect the true Chinese cuisine

we returned to this pleasant Chinese restaurant in bellinzona, accompanied by a guest of the luganese. reserve was not necessary. the menu is always rich and delicious. steam ravioli are also up to expectations. in general it is always a pleasure to return to this intimate and familiar environment.

At the entrance we were greeted by the kind owner, who immediately made us sit in the table of our choice. being Wednesday, the rich buffet was available. Es war ein nüchterner Abend, das Locarno Film Festival hatte mich sehr enttäuscht, nachdem das Hotel meine Sachen gepackt und mein Zimmer verkauft hatte. Ich war auf der Suche nach einer friedlichen Oase und das Schicksal führte mich nach Bellinzona, oder wie es oft genannt wird, die meditative Stadt,... ich war von der Geschichte, den alten Burgen fasziniert, ich wollte bleiben und Prinzessin spielen, aber leider kein Platz für den Hund. Das Frühstück bestand aus trockenem Weißbrot und... Ich nahm mir ein Handtuch, da ich in den Fluss baden wollte, aber bevor ich es zurückgeben konnte, nahm mich die chinesische Dame zur Seite, um über das Mitnehmen von Handtüchern aus dem Hotel zu sprechen....
