good breakfast, good service and friendly waiters, clean toilets and every dining room in general with authentic decoration. I can't think of food but I'll be back.

Recomendable 100%. Platos mediterraneos, cocina malagueña, limpio y en el centro de la Cala. Los calamares fritos con aceite muy limpio, son el plato que siempre pido, y una ensalada de atun.

Don't expect fast service...everything is done at a veeerry sloooow pace! Great if you're in no hurry : Good selection of tapas, toritilla was the beat I've had in years and the montaditos de lomo are a must have. Speisekarte ansehen

Buen sitio para comer, de lo mejor de la zona. El menú del día tiene bastantes platos para elegir, cuanto más elaborados mejor (los callos con garbanzos están espectaculares, por ejemplo... , y las cantidades son apropiadas. Los tres camareros te atienden muy bien, y en general se está muy a gusto en el local. Recomendado

We came here for breakfast as it is one of the few places open on a Sunday at this time of year. We waited half an hour for coffee and the a little longer for our breakfast order. The food and drink were passable but nothing to shout about. The service was slow and the general state of the bar area was very untidy signs of the disorganisation that seemed to be apparent.

We stopped at Cafeteria Sorroche for lunch with the plan to have the menu del dia. However, when we saw the tapas menu we were impressed and so decided to order from it. No regrets at all. Every dish was tasty and nicely presented. Spanish omelette was wonderful, as was the grilled hake, pork in pepper sauce, and grilled prawns. Service was friendly and efficient. We came here while we were going to Mijas for a beach day. Offside the boardwalk and the typical and pricier tourist places, we found this typical little Spanish bar/restaurante. It seems to be liked by the locals as much as by us and they offered a typical but good menu del dia for a very reasonable price! The food was good, portions according to the menu situation and the prices and the service was great. If you don't want to spend too much and are looking for a variety of food on a hot summer day, try it.

Six of us went today for the first time. The menu selection was very good and the food was well cooked by Papa and served by his three friendly sons. Quite often menu del dias have the same boring foods, but here they have included other dishes. The salmorejo was very good, the albóndigas very tasty, not bad wine, delicious lemon mousse and good coffee. All of us enjoyed the meal. I would say though that if they could improve a little on the patatas fritas, that would be even better, but they were okay. Oh, and to sit there for three hours, maybe some cushions on the wooden chairs? Having said all this, 11,50 incl wine and biscuit with coffee and a mini chocolate , excellent value and we wil...

We visited this establishment after reading great reviews. The waiter who was less than helpful just grunted when asked if a table was free and basically pointed to the tables inside, all were empty bar two which had customers already dining. Every empty table was still full of past customers plates, food and drinks. We chose the one with less waste on it. A gentleman followed us in however it seemed it was his mate and he was given preferential treatment. He knew we were waiting and at no point did he apologise over the mess on our table or inform us he’d be with us shortly. We waited for a while and we were just ignored throughout.
