this historic place serves authentic traditional food from salerno. they cook almost everything in the stone oven, so it is very different from other restaurants in the environment.

New management of a historic restaurant in Salerno brings back some of its flagships. We spent a pleasant evening dining at this pizza restaurant. Excellent pizza and courteous service.

We arrived at the restaurant at seven, thinking it opened at that time. But it actually opened at 7:30. They let us in anyway. Service was quick. Food amazing, wine delicious. A nice neighbourhood restaurant.

Went here for the pasta fagioli which although different to how i am used to having it, it was tasty. We also had polpette and melanzana both lovely. All food pre cooked and on show. Choose it and it is warmed and served quickly. Great friendly service.

The legacy has not been lost. A new culinary reality that has been able to enhance and respect tradition by providing new dishes based on excellent products and with attention to the smallest details. Go there, a culinary experience not to be missed in Salerno.

amazing best authentic Italian cuisine in salerno! the waiter didn't speak English, but was so efficient and totally understood to us and his service was excellent and over many londoners located that we left in london.) the wein was also the best. we could not have wished for better meal!

Historic Salerno restaurant, well-kept environment but respecting the old walls and tradition. We tasted perfect meatballs, flavors of home, as well as cod and pasta and beans, with a mixed pasta format that gives it an extra touch. Top service. Family atmosphere. We will definitely be back to taste the pizza and old Salerno flavors. Definitely coming back.

This was the worst meal we had on our 10-day Italian vacation. (And I've been to Italy before. And I grew up Italian. The menu is limited, and we came about an hour after they opened for dinner and they were already out of dishes. The food they did have was not good. My table ordered the pizza and calzone, both of which were OK. But everything else we ordered was terrible (pasta was flavorless, mussels smelled like bleach, beef was extremely overcooked . There was only 1 red wine on the menu, and it tasted like vinegar. The service was not rude, but definitely uncomfortable. Our waiter was gruff and stood watching over us while we ate. Overall, I wouldn't go back or recommend it.

Il locale è stato elegantemente ristrutturato con toni morbidi e riposanti, valorizzando i particolari architettonici e lasciando una bella cucina a vista. Il menu non ha fortunatamente molte voci, segno di cucina espressa.per contro il menu pizza è molto fitto. Abbiamo preso parmigiana di melanzane , con cinque strati, non troppa mozzarella e un bel sugo di pomodoro tirato, molto buona. Poi alici dorate e fritte deliziose.
