Ristorante eccellente con piatti ricercati e della tradizione con servizio ottimo e gentile, siamo arrivati con amici in un giorno di bassa stagione ma con servizio e scelta adeguatao

Feels as if you have private dining. Every day was a special, food was good, and the service was amazing. Nice wine list, and after a long day sightseeing, it was a pleasure to eat where you stayed.

Majority of previous reviews accurate. The welcome was wonderful, the garden beautiful and as I write am sitting on a couch looking over the green hills into the Siena township. Feel very fortunate. The hotel has a pool and tennis court. Would recommend it as an alternative to staying inthe Siena township (if you had a car). Speisekarte ansehen

On our first night in Italy, we came here for dinner (we were staying down the street at The Four Points Sheraton) What an amazing dinner, the service was spot on, the food was soooo good, YOU MUST TRY THE PECCI PASTA WITH WHITE RAGU!!! I'd advise to arrive early and have a cocktail in the bar area or outside, very polished relaxed atmosphere.

We stayed in the Villa for four days and ate there one night. It is perhaps somewhat over priced but, that being said, it is a beautiful, white tablecloth'ed setting of an old world style.The dinner was good (we both had the fish special), we were enjoying ourselves and never felt rushed and felt the service exceptional (the tone having been set by the exceptional Maitre de) ! We were more than satisfied.

Very quaint, quiet place to stay. We loved it here. Everyone was delightful and kind to us all. It’s absolutely picturesque here. The terrace is dreamy and the aperol spritzers are the best. We are here in August but you would never know, the air conditioning is way better than expected, we were a bit chilly at night. Our children could run around (ages 7, 10, 15) and order what they wanted and relax, it is very safe. This was a perfect respite between Rome and Florence, so relaxing. Speisekarte ansehen

Stayed at the Villa for two days. Dinner was delicious, sea bass and risotto side (they warmed and remixed veggies when I finished it primi), incredible dessert (flourless chocolate cake and fresh strawberries), half bottle of Chardonnay a fine value. And delicious Porto. All with a delightful Maitre’d and staff. I will try the lamb and also try the tiramisu next time, next table raved. Then had the hotel breakfast, the baker is a genius: try the small black rolls with honey. Stayed overlong, ordered a ham/Swiss sandwich, swore to eat only half but the bread was too tasty to leave.

My husband and I visit Italy every year, and we are always sure to stay at Villa Scacciapensieri. No other hotel comes close in providing a true Tuscan experience. The location of Scacciapensieri is perfect; you feel that you are out in the countryside, yet it is only a 5-minute taxi ride (or 10-minute bus ride) to Siena! From the private setting of the pool, you can gaze out onto the beautiful undulating hills of the Chianti. The restaurant offers first class dining, and service. For us, Villa Scacciapensieri, is not just a place to stay while visiting Siena; it is a destination in and of itself.

Rather than deal with the hassle of staying in the city, we stayed at this hotel in a very nice suburban neighborhood and took the bus in. The staff are friendly, the breakfast was very good and I would be happy to stay here again. Taking the bus into Siena is easy and convenient and certainly beats trying to deal with the madness of parking near enough to the city center to walk in you can't drive in the actual central area . The only glitch we had at the hotel was an improperly cooked steak well done ! when it was ordered rare at dinner, but that was quickly corrected. The response of the wait staff make up for what seemed to be someone new in the kitchen. Speisekarte ansehen
