Plastic found in the children’s pasta. Staff dealt with this but still unacceptable. This could have been a serious issue for a young child.

I ordered drinks and a curry through the app, but the curry arrived after 30 minutes and was cold. After waiting another 45 minutes with no sign of our drinks, we tried to queue at the bar to complain. However, the wait seemed too long so we gave up and left.

The restaurant was extremely crowded with too many tables, and the service was just okay. The food was bland and overpriced compared to what it used to be. If it weren't for my hunger, I would not have eaten there. It has been a while since my last visit, and I must say, the quality has definitely declined. Speisekarte ansehen

Have visited this establishment several times over the years visited lunch time midweek We both had a chicken tikka masala The nann breads and papaddoms were A1 but the rice was Luke warm and the curry itself was very watery not up to it regular standard by a long shot rate was ok by general overhaul opinion poor

A pretty big spacious spoons but we found the ground floor area had the feel of a canteen. We had breakfast downstairs but then our evening meal upstairs and that felt far more comfortable relaxed. Both of our meals were hot delicious and the staff friendly. There are outdoor areas to sit on and the interior glass staircase is something to see.

Visited to celebrate Father’s Day, what a disappointment! The menus have been changed no grill section! The American burger was so dry and tasteless, one piece of finely chopped red onion and a tiny amount of mustard no taste! The chips were hard. Food was cold! My children didn’t eat their chicken basket saying it was disgusting. Service at the bar was very poor (no customer service)! We will not be returning! Speisekarte ansehen

We had breakfast at 10am Sunday 8 October. We were a group of 10 but the restaurant was not busy. Only 2 of the breakfasts were acceptable. Some items overcooked, some undercooked and even one person who ordered toast only received one slice of toast and one slice of bread! When we complained, the attitude of one of the waitresses tall with dark wavy hair) was terrible! We were offered a refund for some of the items but when two of our group went to the till , they were told that they were just “ taking advantage “! We use Wetherspoons a lot, we know it can be so much better than this.

I love wetherspoons and have been to quite a few of them with no problem. But unfortunately this one has the venue right and the view over the bay but the food is shocking. We ordered burger and chips and scampi and chips. Before we could take a sip of our drinks the food was there. I wish I had taken photos of how unappealing it was. The burger meal was dry and looked as if it had just been thrown onto a plate where there was dry egg left on the plate from the previous person. The scampi was barely warm. And even though I hardly touched mine no one asked why when they cleared the plates.

My partner and I visited this restaurant twice during our 24-hour stay in Cardiff Bay. The location is fantastic, surrounded by many other restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. We had breakfast in the morning and a quick stop for some beers in the evening. We easily found a table, ordered our food and drinks through an app, and received them within 3-5 minutes. The service was excellent with no wait at the bar. The food was delicious, fresh, hot, and very tasty. The prices were very reasonable, which always makes us want to come back. Speisekarte ansehen
