We sampled a selection of dishes among the four of us, including both traditional pub favorites and some unique options, and everything was served piping hot and tasted homemade. I highly recommend this place. Just be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment!

Fantastic lunch here today with the family and the dog. Food was lovely empty plates from both kids so you know it must be good! Fab portion sizes. Dog friendly with treats for sale for the doggos. The food was good, and the location is beautiful, but the overall experience fell short. While the food itself was decent, it wasn't outstanding, and it took an excessively long time to arrive. I understand the restaurant was very busy, but our table was often overlooked; we had to keep asking for service, drinks, and updates on our meals. In terms of pricing, it was about £20-30 per person. Overall, I’d rate the food a 3, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 4.

We opted to sit outside on a chilly but sunny day, so I can't comment much on the interior atmosphere. However, it was lively inside, with plenty of patrons and a lovely fire. We ordered a sharing platter along with a few extra sides for our group of seven (including one child), which turned out to be an ideal choice for lunch, allowing everyone to sample a bit of everything. There were many dogs present, both indoors and outdoors, and the beer was well-chilled. Price per person: £10–20. Overall, I’d rate the food and service a perfect 5. I'd recommend trying the Cyprus Mix!

This was our first visit this evening, and we were impressed by the beautiful atmosphere and the friendly, attentive staff. The menu is varied and affordable, catering to a wide range of tastes. We started with garlic mushrooms, followed by fish and chips served with tartar sauce. Everything was freshly cooked and of excellent quality and portion size. I also recommend trying the Whitstable Bay. Overall, it’s a lovely place, and we plan to return soon. In fact, we came back just two days later.
