Wimpy - Speisekarte

My grandparents used to take me once a week to the wimpy as a kid so it was nostalgic to go back and have the food again. The staff were all lovely and the food was delicious. Our waitress Isabella was very patient with my grandparents and I and was friendly and helpful throughout our meal. I would recommend visiting

Without doubt worst burgers we have ever had. They tasted of nothing but minced cardboard. When i pointed out we didn't enjoy the burgers they told me they had served them for forty years. We'll it's about time they stopped serving cheap frozen rubbish. We thought we would take the grand children to a bit of nostalgia. Big mistake. Water off money.

This was the place my parents took me for a treat as a kid and the food is still fantastic and this restaurant is still owned and run by the same family. Had to pop in and grab a burger when I was back in the old neighbourhood and it was great to see the restaurant still there and busy as ever. This Wimpy restaurant is the best, me my family love it here. Food is great value, great tasting cooked fresh. This is a proper restaurant, not fast food. The menu has been updated the choices are good. The staff management are always friendly attentive. We walk in as customers but always leave as friends. Can't say anything negative maybe if Wimpy sold beer wine it would get the recognition it deserves?

I had not been in this Wimpy for about ten years and was surprised to find the same man working in there, apparently he has been there for almost 40 years. The menu is very similar to what it was 10 years ago, it’s not fine dining but is very acceptable snack type food at a reasonable price. It is very clean and tidy with good table service. It’s reawakened my taste for quick burger type snacks. Overall very good.

Was great to see a wimpy still going. All the ones down the far coast have now long gone. Brought back some memories. Staff here were very polite, greeted with a smile. What I could see was very clean and tidy. Food was good and arrived quickly. My main concern was apart from the guys doing the cooking the serving girls had no hats on, all having long hair, all beit pulled back in ponytail. Other than that a pleasant experience. Ordered a burger from here on just eat clearly stating I wanted it totally plain , just the burger nothing else. When it arrived it wasn't plain at all. Mistakes happen but when I phoned the restaurant to explain and get a replacement the person I spoke to was completely obnoxious and rude and said it was my fault I hadn't stated what I wanted when I had done very clearly. After a bit of an argument he then said he was reporting me to the police ! I didn't think Wimpys existed any more and if they employ people like this they soon won't !

Me and my wife went here in Bexleyheath for a quick lunch, track and trace in place, 2 types of hand sanitizer available, there is a sliding door, to keep you from the staff to begin with, you are then shown to a table with wipe down menus. The staff are friendly and polite, the food and drink is decent. Sitting down you realise that the sliding door to the outside is always closed unless someone obviously comes through, I’ve been to a few places during this pandemic, but this is the most COVID secure I’ve seen, well done to the management and staff, I will certainly be coming back here again .

My dad used to bring me to this Wimpy when I was a kid so getting on for 40+ years ago. It's still run by the same family and customer care is obviously at the heart of what they do, this must be why it's still going. I popped in around same time last year as well and the manager was introducing two elderly couples to each other who'd both been going for 40+ years as well. The food is still excellent, freshly cooked and very quick to arrive, the menu has expanded but you can still get all the faves. The half pounder is recommended.
