Woodman - Speisekarte

While taking a break in South Wales from Liverpool, we stopped by this restaurant for dinner before heading home. The ambiance was delightful and charming. The food was absolutely delicious! We are still reminiscing about it weeks later. Thank you for the excellent service.

Came to try the Sunday Roast Beef what a terrible mistake we made It's like a cheap calvary lunch the food is not worth the money they are charging the dessert saved them just thankful the chef did not make it they need to serve better food expecially when people are paying for it the points is for the poor food Speisekarte ansehen

Visited The Woodman last night with friends, it is always a joyful experience. The management and staff are always so welcoming and accommodating to customers and local community. Had lovely Korean chicken strips, fries olives and more, plus excellent wine. After a period of health problems iI was so lovely to be welcomed back by staff. Well done!

This is my mother’s favourite place to eat so we come here whenever we visit, and for good reason! We came as a group of 10 (including a 4 year old and a baby) and had a great time! The staff were very accommodating and friendly even when we had to change the booking several times to add on extra people! The food was delicious, very well seasoned and cooked. Will definitely be back again!

Despite reading the oh so many negative reviews I have to say that we had a very enjoyable meal. The gammon and chips were lovely and it was a pleasant surprise to be served fresh pineapple instead of the ubiquitous tinned version. The gentleman behind the bar couldn’t do enough for us, service was very prompt and welcoming. Parking was no problem either. This pub is quite spacious with a lot of seating and a large car park, although it is shared with visitors to Clyne Gardens (you need to register your car at the bar). The atmosphere is friendly and the bar offers a decent selection of beers, although not all were available during my visit. The food is typical pub fare but served quickly and hot. The restrooms are clean and well-kept. It's a great spot for a casual lunch or a get-together with friends, as the staff is hassle-free.

Absolutely amazing 10/10! We ended up here after many failed attempts to get into local Italians this evening as fully booked, saw this in the week and looked lovely so came here. Best decision ever, had a fab meal with even better service. Such a friendly team, James went above and beyond to make my 8 year old smile and giggle all evening, so funny and friendly. Morgan served us, she was lovely and so attentive and sweet too. Fab food even better service, will be returning for sure on our next holiday this way!

I visited The Woodman with my family of 7 to celebrate my son's 14th birthday on Sunday, September 24th. The pub is in a great location and the staff are friendly with a good selection of drinks at the bar. However, we were booked for 2pm and despite the email confirmation warning that the table could be given away if we were 15 minutes late, we were not seated until close to 2.30pm. The service was slow, likely due to issues in the kitchen. Our drinks orders were quicker going to the bar, but there was a long wait for plates to be cleared and for the initial food order to be taken.
