"The food was incredibly delicious. Unfortunately, when we visited on Friday evening around 7 PM, they had run out of roasted duck, which was disappointing since we were eager to try it. We did try the beef, which was fantastic. However, the noodles served as a side were overly salty and rich, which overshadowed the beef. The portions were quite large; we could barely finish half of the noodles between the two of us. Also, at over £9, we felt that the noodles were quite expensive."

It was a pity that there was no duck available and then neither was one of chef’s recommendations, but the waitresses were helpful, charming and efficient. We really enjoyed the food and the quantity as well as the quality.

Delicious, authentic Chinese food. Certainly not your average Chinese restaurant but on a par with restaurants in Chinatown. Lots of unusual dishes on the menu, with drinks to match. Having grown up in Hong Kong it made me very nostalgic

The service was terrible. I have been to the restaurant a few times and I have to say, this place is not child-friendly at all. They always give you a grumpy face when they come and clear your table (let alone asking a few times after 20 mins into our meal whether we have finished), no welcome and thank you at all.

Goes from strength to strength. Food was extraordinary, service was warm and the atmosphere buzzy but not intrusive. The only thing which needs navigating is that the portion sizes are designed for larger groups so if you are dining as a couple it's easy to over-order, especially on veg. Chef's specials are awesome.

Perhaps our expectations had been raised too high by Reviews online but we were unimpressed by the food and the service alternated from waiting ages for starter to then being rushed through the other courses. We felt it was a very ordinary Chinese meal which didn’t justify the cost ...... e.g. a sizzling beef dish was £15.80. Although beef was lovely it was sadly drowned in a very sweet pineapple sauce. Really?
