This is a delightful spot for a casual meal, offering the best Mexican food I've had in quite some time. The portions were generous and the prices surprisingly affordable.

Met a friend in Durham and called in for a quick lunch. The menu looked good and we weren’t disappointed. Staff were very friendly and informative when asked questions and the place seemed to have a good vibe, seemed a little quiet for the time of day, however I would suggest this is with the Students not being around My burrito was excellent, tasty, filling and superb value for money, Top Stuff!

I ordered a surprise bag the day before but after we travelled to Durham to collect it I got a message less than half an hour before to say they didn’t have enough left. Totally inexcusable after they accepted my order a day before. I strongly suspect that due to the good weather and Durham being busy they were doing good business so decided to sell my order for a higher price rather than reserving it and honouring the order. As customers have up to 2 hours before to cancel these orders Zaps should have the decency to give at least the same notice if they are going to mess customers around like this. Very, very poor customer service.

Ordered delivery to my hotel after arriving in Durham ill and tired. Ordered the vegan jackfruit burrito which is currently out of stock but the staff member called me to explain and offered me an alternative. He also explained that one of the items I'd bought wasn't vegan and offered me an alternative. My food arrived quickly and the burrito was HUGE with loads of tortilla chips and an extra taster of the other vegan filling option to try It was just what I needed whilst feeling so ill and away from home. So good I went back with my mum a couple of days after! Our burritos were just as good Super yummy, decent price and friendly staff. Keep up the good work! Speisekarte ansehen

We had been hiking around Durham city all morning and worked up a good appetite and as we had seen this place the day before and liked the menu, we decided to try it for lunch. The ground floor just has tables and toilets, so you have to walk up the stairs to reach the food service area, which is very clean and the food all looked fresh and tasty. The young lady serving the food was very organised and helpful in recommending choices as there were lots of ingredients to choose from going into our burrito! We enjoyed our food and it was so filling we didn't eat much more the rest of the day. For a tasty, filling meal at a reasonable price I would recommend eating here.

I visited this restaurant with my son, who is a regular customer here. Despite being very busy with phone orders, we didn't mind the wait. We shared some nachos and ordered 2 meal deals. The nachos were amazing, especially the shredded beef which literally melted in our mouths. When we went to pick up our burritos, we were served by a polite, friendly, and helpful young lady and young man. We didn't receive our fries, possibly because they were busy, but we also didn't remind them so that was on us. Honestly, we didn't even miss the fries after enjoying the nachos. The burritos were also delicious, and now I understand why my son loves this place. We will definitely be coming back again.

I have been here multiple times and received nice food however upon my most recent visits I have been thoroughly dissatisfied. My most recent, and frankly most appalling, visit was today (15/09/22), I brought a family member with me after having recommended the burrito bar a few times; expecting to have a high quality experience. However, unfortunately, we did not. My family member was served first and successfully, they were treated wonderfully by the member of staff and seem rather happy with their meal. For me however, the female that served me had poor customer service skills, her voice was monotone, appearing rather bored, and her questions of what fillings I liked were not that clear....
