"My husband and I went to Zizzi's in the Highcross in Leicester. We were warmly greeted. then shown to our seats. We were given the main menu, as well as the specials menu,alot of restaurants dont give them willingly! We both chose of the special menu, as it was 2 main meals for £12, which was well worth it.I had the meatball calzone, which was packed full with meatballs,and,mushrooms, it was delicious. My husband had the calzon/pizza which was a combination of both,also delicious. We will return"

Great food, but we were seated on a terribly rickety fold up table to start with and had to move because it was so unstable! Also, the service was incredibly slow the waiter seemed to have far too many tables to wait on, and was obviously struggling.

Busy on an early Thursday evening, but were led to our booked table immediately. Maitre 'd was fabulous, service was discreet and effective. The food was excellent, but very largte. I had a starter of Gnocci with gorgonzola, which defeated me but was lovely, if a little heavy on the sauce.

Zizzi have raised the game massively since offering the rustica pizza, courgette ball tagliatelle and pesto bread. Although its a shame a couple of these are borrowed...regardless. Fantastic service, albeit a little slow, and a good solid house white and we had good food for a reasonable price on a school night. Loved it. Speisekarte ansehen

Service was very slow indeed and we actually had to leave the table on one occasion to fetch someone. Consequently our meal took much longer than we had wanted. The main courses were fine, though Ask does it better. Wine was very good and everyone loved dessert. We all agreed that the restaurant is in a convenient position to drop in for dessert and coffee while shopping but will not book meals there.

My husband and I went to Zizzi's in the Highcross Leicester. I had the Lasagne Al Forno which was really tasty,it had a lovely crispy topping.My husband had the Stromboli Calzone, the salami was crispy on the top, and the filling of spinach and cheese was so delicious. We also had the bread basket, which was delicous with all the different breads, the balsamic vinegar was lovely with it for dipping.As usual the food was lovely. The place was buzzing with people which was nice!
