"This place is absolutely amazing and became a weekly spot for me. The owners are so friendly warm and kind and will do anything to ensure you have the best time. The atmosphere feels very cosy and relaxed and there is always a great vibe. The food is really good, a nice variety on offer with very fair and affordable prices. I would recommend having the lamb sausage platter. Simply delicious! The range of drinks are amazing as well and there is something for everyone. A staple of Reading food and drink and somewhere I will always come back to time and time again."

"definitiw a hidden food treasure in a lower corner of caversham with good service, great ambiente, high quality delicious Nepalese cuisine and an excellent value for money. the menu offers a large selection and there is no so-called service fee, as is now a norm for almost anywhere where they eat. they also offer deliveroo and just eat service. priya was helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly."

"Since we last visited some years ago the Everest has made a real effort with their décor including a new beer garden out front. Lighting inside is decorative and colourful but overall ambience is a little too bright maybe? Our food was very disappointing, we ordered Everest Special Mismas and Mixed Grill Masala as mains. Both were higher priced dishes that were supposed to include prawns but there were none in either dish. The Mismas didn 't look anything like the menu photo but in fairness they do state Photos are for suggestion only: Actual Platters may appear DIFFERENT . The Masala grill was described as medium sauce but our dish was very mild with no trace of chilli heat. The stuffed paratha was undercooked and greasy. Pilau rice and vegetable bhuna side however were both very good. Kingfisher and Cobra are served on draft but both were charged 30p a pint more than the printed menu price it 's gone up was the explanation. Prices overall are fair but I was hoping for authentic tasty food that at least lived up to the menu descriptions."

"It was our first time and it will not be our last. From the time we were shown to our table this experience was divine because of the food , atmosphere and service and that was Harriet who made the evening a wonderful Birthday celebration. I had the London Street Brasserie Lobster Prawn Cocktail. It was by far the best prawn cocktail I have ever had. I loved the addition of avocado which took it to another level. My main was a Seared Bream Fillet , Grilled Octopus. It was accompanied with Isle of Wight Tomatoes , Asparagus , Saute Jersey Royals Avocado Purée. Every element of the dish was perfect and complimented each other. This plate of perfection was on a level named sublime and I finished on a Key Lime Meringue with a Margarita Sorbet. When I ordered this Harriet had mentioned this was her favourite and after I had finished I knew why. It was light , refreshing and the flavours were out of this world. When I return I would easily have all of this again. You have not lived an exciting life until you experienced this amazing restaurant for yourself. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who reads this"

"Ich habe hier gegessen, als es unter einem anderen Namen bekannt war und das neue Dekor sehr unterschiedlich ist. Denken Sie eher an ein modernes, erstklassiges Boutique-Hotel als an den früheren romantisch verblassenden Nachtclub. Sie akzeptieren nur sehr wenige Cover, also war es überhaupt nicht beschäftigt, aber Dies bedeutete auch sehr wenig Personal, so dass es gelegentlich schwierig war, die Aufmerksamkeit eines Kellners auf sich zu ziehen. Das Essen war insgesamt gut und mein vegetarischer Freund war besonders erfreut, dass sie nicht die üblichen Cop-Outs mit der Option "V" nahmen. Ich hatte eine passable, aber nicht brillante Hühnerroulade, die leicht verkocht war, aber mit einem ausgezeichneten Riesling gut abrutschte. Mein Hauptgericht war gebratener Lachs und war auf einer ganz anderen Ebene perfekt zubereitet und lecker. Die Portionsgrößen erinnerten jedoch an die Nouvell-Küche, und pro Kopf für ein 2-Gänge-Mittagessen ist dies nicht die Art von Ort, an dem Sie regelmäßig ein Mittagessen einnehmen, es sei denn, Sie genießen ein schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Weinkarte hatte eine gute Tiefe und die Preise waren nicht schrecklich, aber es war klar zu sehen, wo der Gewinn liegt. Ich verstehe, dass sie am späten Nachmittag Sahne-Tees anbieten, und ich werde ihnen wahrscheinlich eine weitere Gelegenheit geben, meine Brieftasche zu leeren, da es insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung war, wenn Sie nach einer Gelegenheit suchen, sich zu unterhalten und zu trinken, anstatt sich auf eine Nacht im Internet vorzubereiten Stadt, Dorf"
