Zizzi - Solihull - Speisekarte

Don't bother The worst restaurant I have ever been in. No customer service at all, Dirty bar piled with Glasses, Tables not cleared. Cold food and a long wait People were complaining all around us and two lots of people walked out while we were there.

I had visited Zizzi yesterday for my dad’s birthday, the food was excellent, very tasty and hot. The food took a few minutes longer than expected because of how busy the restaurant was, but the manager gave us free dessert as an apology which was greatly appreciated.

We needed to eat our dinner out in the town centre early evening mid week and decided on this place because as it was convenient to where we were heading. On the evening we visited it was very understaffed. The food was just about okay but took a very long time to be delivered. Speisekarte ansehen

Table got completely ignored by waiting staff and the kitchen. We was A party of 16 who in 3 hours only managed to have 2 drinks and a starter each. After finishing the starter and waiting 30mins we asked about the mains to then be told the kitchen hadn't even started preparing any of it. Order was swiftly cancelled and we left. The table was directly next to the service window for the kitchen so it's not like we could have been forgotten about. Won't return or recommend to anyone.

First time for us visiting this lovely restaurant. We have both visited many restaurants on our travels but this has to be one of the best italian restaurants we have visited. Everything from a warm greeting to the lovely food and not forgetting to mention the great service from the staff especially Shannon, Who really went above and beyond our expectations on a fantastic service with such a great attitude and a lovely smile. We both had mushroom rissotto which was absolutely lush with garlic bread. The prices were reasonable too. We really couldn't recommend this restaurant enough. It certainly left us feeling like we had a great evening. Will definately be visiting again.

Really good meal from the 3 course set menu for £25.95, which has to be one of the best set menus around. Good choice of starters, fantastic choice of mains and good selection of puds. Quite busy when we arrived at 3pm and only 1 front of house staff, but he was excellent. Took drink order after seating us and then food order after bring our drinks. I chose the mushroom brindisi, that unfortunately I had to send back as it had been overcooked and the bread has stuck to the bottom, offered a fresh one when I pointed this out, but hence reason for only 4 stars. We have eaten at the Solihull Zizzis on many occasions and have always been happy with the restaurant. Sadly, however , our experience last week was well below par. I had booked a table and were seated quickly . We weren 't asked if we wanted any drinks , which we found strange . The waitress came to take our order including drinks and our starters arrived. We waited a little while for our main course which was fine. I heard the chef say Service please and could see our pizza on the counter. The waitress was talking to another table , which is Ok if there 's no one to serve , except there was. After a few minutes I asked her to deliver our pizza , which was done with no apology at all. The behavior we experienced from the manager was absolutely appalling. The lady was extremely rude (Dorota) Despite multiple available tables, when one of us inquired about walk-in options, she responded with a bark that could be heard from 15 meters away. Even before she approached us, while standing in the doorway, I checked Zizi 's website and found multiple booking slots available. However, when she finally came to us, let 's call her the Dorota the unpleasant lady, she claimed there was no availability. We informed her that we had indeed booked a table and expected to be accommodated. Additionally, a little courtesy and a smile from the staff wouldn 't hurt. The waitresses were lovely,...

We all sat down at the table and everything seemed all good when we were greeted and our drinks order was taken, things went down hill from there… it took 20 minutes to get the drinks to the tableMy boyfriend ordered a pizza off the set menu called “sticky pig” which is meant to be one of the restaurants specials… it wasn’t very special. It was a very large pizza split in half, one half has a very spicy crispy, burnt panchetta slice with some spicy chilli’s on, the other side was even worse. It was a very thin base with a huge pile of melted mozzarella, this was thicker than the pizza itself. The mozzarella was mixed in with some stuffing which was dumped on the top of the pizza.
