Zizzi - West End St. Giles

The waiter was rude. When I asked about if I could use the vouchers on Zillioners club, he shrugged his shoulders and said ' I don 't know! ' There was not a smile on his face, everything was too much trouble. The staff needs more training on the zillioners club. I had a disappointed birthday meal.

My daughter and I arrived at 6:30pm to a restaurant that was only half full, but we were told we couldn't come in because we didn't have a reservation! The person who greeted us seemed ashamed. This policy is absurd and probably causes them to lose a lot of business every day. The customer service was very poor.

We visited as a family in between shows and although the food was good, the atmosphere was spoilt by the manager shouting at a member of staff, supposedly behind the scenes but with our view we could see and hear it all, not what you want to see or hear happen, never mind if you are trying to eat together as a family Speisekarte ansehen

The food was great when it came. Service was terrible. Not busy and plenty of staff around but very disorganised. Ordered a glass of wine and some water, wine came quickly water about ten minutes later Main meals again came about 5 minutes apart Some staff need training and lessons in politeness and smiling especially the girl behind the bar.

Absolutely fantastic service from our server Jacek. He was very polite and very swift and made our visit absolutely smooth which is what you need after whole day shopping in Oxford Street. Our food was delicious and I could simply swap the ingredients on my pizza without any fuss. I wish all restaurant could have same level of service and I think customers would be much happier.

A huge thank you to the brilliant team at Zizzi’s Central St. Giles for accommodating our large group (95 people) of conference delegates attending the United Kingdom Ireland Controlled Release Society 2023 Symposium at UCL. Servers, bar staff, chefs, and Khovin, you all deserve a medal! Thank you for your patience, your help with planning, and the super efficient way in which you served us our meal. I had some Zizzi vouchers to use from Tesco clubcard. We didn't make a reservation and arrived around 6:30pm on a Friday night. The restaurant wasn't completely full, but we were told to come back in 15-20 minutes. We didn't mind, as the weather was nice, so we sat outside nearby. When we returned, we were seated right away. The restaurant seemed a bit understaffed, but as it quieted down, the service improved. The food was typical Zizzi fare - good, but nothing extraordinary. We had plans to go to the cinema afterward, so we breezed through two courses quickly.

The food was really delicious....when it arrived. I booked a table for 2 and was told we had it for 90 mins. We arrived at 5.45 and were seated. It took quite a while to have our order taken. One of us wanted GF pasta but they had none in stock so had to chose something else (we were not informed there was no GF pasta when we arrived despite being asked if we had any allergies and being told one of us was GF). We finally got our meals at just before 7. We only had 15 mins left on the table and we had theatre tickets for 7.30 so we had to eat very quickly and had no time for dessert much to my daughter's disappointment. When I realised the food was not going to be quick I asked if I could pay...

We made a reservation for 5:45 pm for a pre-theatre dinner, thinking we had plenty of time. However, when we arrived, there was no one to greet us at the door. Two members of our party had arrived before us, so we started making our way to our table. A staff member gestured for us to go back and wait by the door, but made no effort to come speak to us. After realizing we had a reservation, he stopped motioning for us to wait. We waited a long time for someone to take our order and had to ask for assistance. We finally placed our order around 6:15 pm. The drinks were brought by a confused waiter who asked if he had brought all the drinks we had ordered. There was no sign of the food even half...
