"It was just DIVIN! We had fun. I suggest you book, something we didn't do. But after 1 hour of waiting, we had a place for us 3. 1h not lost because we made a tour in the very pleasant neighborhood and discovered the beautiful Abbatiale. To get back to the meal, everything was a murder! The melting rumsteck, delicious rice, hamburgers of my vegetarian daughter and my perfect spouse as well as homemade chips. And desserts... ecstasy! Thanks for the welcome and this memorable meal!!"

"We love to eat here on our way through France and base our trips around stopping here on the first night and last night. We've had many meals here over the years and have never been disappointed. The menu changes daily with lots of choices based on what is being cooked that day. €17.90 for 4 courses including wine is fantastic value. Good honest hearty French food. Truckers stop here but plenty of locals seem to love it too."

"Mon épouse et moi y avons mangé ce vendredi soir, pour être franc tout à fait par hasard. L’accueil et le service sont sympathiques même si un peu brouillons.La cuisine est très correcte et les plats que nous avions pris étaient maison (sauf les frites), les portions copieuses, le tout pour un prix très doux (66€ à 2 avec menu 3 services, apéritifs, une grande bouteille d'eau et une bouteille de vin).Certains petits détails laissent à désirer, par exemple la terrasse venait d'être nettoyée et la balayette était encore sur le sol, le vin a été débouché sur une table à côté de la notre avant de nous être servi sans dégustation préalable. Sans çà, vu le prix, c'était très correct, je ne ferai pas un détour pour y venir mais j'y retournerais avec plaisir."

"We ate here two nights running whilst staying close to Abbeville. We just had the buffet on the first night but they have a section called 'Wok Grillade' whereby you can select raw meat and fish and raw veg and hand it to the chef and they will cook it for you with your selected sauce. This included scallops, squid, tiger prawns, steak and chicken. Tasted fantastic and the buffet was also very extensive. The spring rolls and dim sum were particularly good. They also had sushi and a good selection of desserts including banana and apple fritters. This is far superior to equivalent buffets in the UK. I highly recommend it for a lunch/dinner stop-off whilst travelling through France."

"We arrived rather late but the staff kindly let us in. There was a party of French celebrating for Christmas next door in the private room. Our lovely waiters apologised for the "noise" but we were delighted to hear French rather than English accents and everyone was very friendly to us. Hubby had the foie gras which was made a la Maison and was very good. I had the halibut capaccio from the set menu followed by salmon with timbale rice and buttery (ooops) courgettes. Hubby had a very blue steak with frites and bearnais sauce, this food is bistro in style but good and much improved since our last visit. Trying to eat relatively low fat I had the blackcurrent sorbet which was delicious. I would never have recommended this restaurant before but there is a new chef and things have changed for the better. Service was good and personable.The restaurant itself us still rather brightly lit and, at 10: 30pm half of it was being set up for breakfast. With variable lighting in sections of the restaurant the atmosphere would be better but we still enjoyed it. Ps the bar closes at 11pm prompt :-)"

"La façade ne paie pas de mine mais ce restaurant vous ravira.L'accueil est très sympathique, les plats, peu nombreux donc faits maison, excellents et l'addition est raisonnable (55€ à deux avec 2 plats dont un à 19€, 2 desserts, un quart de vin et 2 cafés). Les desserts, en vitrine au comptoir, sont succulents. Le chef est pâtissier à l'origine.Il y a une terrasse bien sympathique et le restaurant est très bien situé au cœur d'Abbeville. Allez-y les yeux fermés."

"Restaurant where we went because the dishes were of good quality. Friendly service. And the clean place despite the old age of the building. But this image quickly left when we arrived in November! A table with a white table at a time. A tablecloth that has experienced several services. The glasses we call dirty that come back in a worse state! A waitress who comes out a bit of paper with the three entries/plat/desserts of the day... she doesn't know her work. And a dish with too hard meat asks for the well cooked blue finish... This sign, however, had a rare good reputation in our small town. Another thing that disappears. We won't come back to the councillor!"

"recommended by our hotel owner and was a good choice. had trepidation when it approached from the outside as it looks like a takeaway fish and chip store (uk), but not be deceived. it is very small and in today's time re Covid...can not be ideal if they take care of social distancing. some external, but it is close to a busy circular traffic. I booked by phone and the lady spoke well English. eating was great, seafood cellar star and I had skate, partner had a two fish dish. both very nice. dessert chocolate maus and caramel brûlée both great. lady told me her family was fischer and they serve her own catch. I bet. many local eating moule as mentioned, it is good, so busy and service is not fast, but it is a pleasure to watch the few workers to not stop and do everything. in any case a good sound."

"We visited Abbeville to break our drive to Nouvelle Aquitaine in France. Tunnel delays meant that we showed up in the restaurant without booking at 9 a.m. The greeting was warm and friendly. There is a concrete divider in the street outside, so it is impossible to drive when approaching from the north. No problem to turn around the next roundabout and access the parking lot. The Auberge is popular with both truck drivers and locals. Not hard to see why. Four course Festpreis Menu 16,90 Euro incl. carafe wine and unlimited bread. No greedy service fees added to the bill that gets sad in Britain more often. The menu consists of 3 tables on the wall. A table for Entrées. One for the net. One for puddies. All hearty and traditional scarf. The third cheese course is, I guess what you get! We went for the cheese when we felt clogged. All in all a nice welcome in France!"
