"My wife and I were recommended to try this restaurant. On entry, we formed the opinion that it was perhaps a new-start business, due to the fact that it had a very limited (but popular) menu and waitress service was provided solely by the owner....The service was exceedingly slow, but we thought OK, but this is France We ordered oysters to start, moules marinière with frites for main course and a dessert plus cheese to finish. Although we asked to see the wine list, our request was ignored and so, when asked what wine we wanted, we just asked for a bottle of Chardonnay which turned out to be a tad expensive but OK. The worst part of the meal was the starter, i.e. oysters. The shells had been opened, presumably by the chef, but they were so small I had trouble finding them! Literally, there was hardly anything to put on the fork. I would have raised this with the owner, but deterred of my limited command of french, I suffered in silence. The main course of micro-mussels was, in fact plentiful and in a tasty cream and garlic sauce, The dessert was also very acceptable. So we left this establishment with mixed feelings; but on balance, I don't think we'll be returning...."

If you are near Abbeville. Call in. A very pleasant host. Great meals, but dont be in a hurry. The mussels are outstanding. On a busy roundabout, but well worth a visit.

we had lunch on Sunday on the way to saint valery sur somme. small place, very simple, located on a roundabout, very often eating with muscheln ok-ish. not convinced that fries and dessert were homemade.

a nice 17 minutes walk from the city center of abbeville to this rustic fish restaurant. our waitress has made us a wonderful job that explains the French menu. the highlight of the meal was the escape of the seafood crepe, followed by the ok muskeln .just ok cold apple cake. not a great wine selection, but a good fun evening

When everything else was closed in Abbeville approaching 3pm on a Sunday, the kind proprietor let my husband and I along with our baby sit down for a late lunch. We had moules and frites which were 10/10. We were told they were caught locally...by her Father. A lovely touch. Reasonably priced and very friendly service, would definitely recommend. Needed a quick bite before heading for the Channel tunnel and stumbled across this place as most other restaurants in the town were closed on a Sunday. Clearly a fish restaurant, they even sell fresh mussels if you order them. Despite being very busy, they...fitted us in for a meal of skate and sauteed potatoes. What a pity we could not stay longer to try some of the other things on offer.

Whilst staying close to Abbeville, we decided to visit the place on a Sunday lunchtime, only to be disappointed that almost everything in the town centre was closed. As we were leaving, we spotted this restaurant on a roundabout on the edge of town. Don't...be put off by the location, it was great! The food (mostly seafood themed unsurprisingly) was delicious and the personal service from the owner was excellent even though we showed up minutes before lunchtime last orders we weren't rushed out afterwards either.

This restaurant was recommended by our bed and breakfast hosts and what a lovely place. It is small and we luckily got there at about 7pm and managed to get a table, by 7.30pm it was full. The restaurant was quite chic and the lady...running it was very pleasant and friendly. We did not see a menu but the owner was able to tell us what we could have. I started with a salmon and shrimp pancake which was fabulous, it was very light and tasty with a lovely cream sauce. My husband had the smoked salmon, we both had moule frites to follow. The ambiance was very nice and the wine was lovely. It was reasonably priced and would recommend it. Speisekarte ansehen

recommended by our hotel owner and was a good choice. had trepidation when it approached from the outside as it looks like a takeaway fish and chip store (uk), but not be deceived. it is very small and in today's time re Covid...can not be ideal if they take care of social distancing. some external, but it is close to a busy circular traffic. I booked by phone and the lady spoke well English. eating was great, seafood cellar star and I had skate, partner had a two fish dish. both very nice. dessert chocolate maus and caramel brûlée both great. lady told me her family was fischer and they serve her own catch. I bet. many local eating moule as mentioned, it is good, so busy and service is not...

searched for a restaurant near abbeville for moules frit. this little place came with good reviews. we reserved a table by e-mail, got a quick answer and table booked. great smiles and cordial greetings from a young French lady who spoke English....Offered us a choice of tables. no menu offered, only oral menu with price options. we came only for the maulted ones we said they said so do others." about 10 tables inside and 6 outside. fast to serve drinks, we chose a carafe of rosen wine. our order and broth, soaked water came with a smile. half full restaurant, but filled as we are, even 2 many take-off orders. the moules were very delicious, we chose traditional cream, soot and garlic sauce....

"Several times, we went in front of this restaurant with the desire to go to be drawn to the facade. It's over. We've been here since the week for a romantic meal. As an aperitif, we are offered cheese leaflets. I wouldn't stand it because they're offered, but I probably never ate that much. in the entrance, my companion chose the lobster with pear cream; It was very good, even if we would have liked a slightly creamier sauce. For me, I chose snails: they swim in fat. the parsley and garlic were barely noticeable (I'm not even sure there are). I wonder if it wasn't a frozen preparation. It's a food that I'm graffeing that's not worth its price here. In the dish, I chose the calf rib with the morilla cream. honestly, it was probably one of the best meats I could eat. perfectly cooked, tender to desire, and true beautiful pieces of morilla. The accompaniment was delicious and the perfect proportions. My partner chose the duck magret. the sauce was very good and the excellent accompaniment; On the other hand, the magret was very dry. having read the reviews before coming and seeing the patronage often criticizes customers not to say anything on the day j; we have just pointed out. his only answer was ha. for dessert, I chose the gourmet coffee. nothing special to say about this if it is not the crust of malignant cream that was too thick and unpleasant to eat. my companion chose the chocolate pear and its orange mousse: flattering name to designate pieces of pear in a crêpe with an industrial chocolate paste and orange zests on a whip. a pleasant dessert, without being unforgettable. To finish on a pleasant note, the server came to cash us. It was very pleasant and we regretted not coming later so that he would serve us rather than the boss who barely spoke to us during the meal. in conclusion, a very mixed opinion on the horn. half of the dishes (an entrance and a dish) well below our expectations and a welcome from the customer to the examination. When I spend for two in a restaurant with drinks, I expect to go out completely satisfied. last point: Please avoid spending the vacuum cleaner during hours of service. Even if it was not in the same room, it is not very pleasant to eat with a vacuum cleaner in the background noise."
