"The restaurant is located in the Community of Alicante, a little away from the beach. The food is exquisite and the staff's treatment is also very good. The food is typical Brazilian and I can assure you that you will try the typical dishes from there. It does not work like the typical rodízio since they serve us, the starters, at the table and you can order the dishes you like the most as many times as you like. They serve you meats like in Brazilian rodízios. They have top quality cards. They also have a pool where you can take a dip to cool off, which is very appreciated in summer. I haven't given 5 stars because I think the price is a little expensive. We paid €38 per person with drinks and desserts included, which came out to almost €50 per person. "We visited mid week in February for some much needed food after a long day on the bikes. We had 2 delicious pizzas, when we first saw them we thought we may have to ask for a box to take some away, but soon realised how hungry we were and scoffed the lot! The lady who served us was so friendly and warm, we tried to speak a little Spanish and she was very receptive, but helped us out in English when we ran out of words! A quick and easy dinner, great value and would recommend."

"well-made food, for me, sushi is the weakest one. rice was not well added but the ration is good. We order two tempuras one of shrimp and another of vegetables the perfect two. I recommend them, and some yakisoba noodles with chicken for small and very rich. recommended place for dinner with family or friends."

"The place is very cool! great and friendly environment and they have some delicioussss vegan/vegetarian options. The chef recommended the Vegan Nachos that were the speciality this evening and WOW, the best I had in years (even non vegans said so) and apart from all of that, all the team is super nice. If you're around, don't miss the opportunity and go check El Bar de Confianza!!! Congrats guys"

"We have visited all of the Bistro Shabby chic restaurants many times as we live in Altea and have had nice meals. However we had dinner in the original Old town Atea one on Sunday evening and unfortunately it was not a great experience. It was quite a cool evening and the restaurant was very cold, doors left open no heat on. We had to keep our coats on! The host had a full length wool coat on so I suppose that said it all. I asked for a candle from the waiter to try and give a semblence of heat and atmosphere. You'd expect that to be a given. Foodwise we had bruschetta to share for starter which was not great. It wasn't the nice fresh tomatoes you'd expect and bread was a bit stale. The mains were served and waiter was about to run quickly back downstairs! I just managed to ask for oil/balsamic dressing for my salad before he did!! He never asked did we need them as you would expect or for them to be on the table! He brought me two oils and had to smell them when I told him it was not balsamic but 2 olive oils! As if he didn't believe me! My main cajun chicken was nice but my husband had entrecot it was cooked well but was like leather. (He said it was like a workout for his mouth to eat it. By the time the water came upstairs to ask us if everything was ok we were nearly finished eating. We told him about the steak and the host gave us a dessert to share which was a nice gesture. However a better cut of meat would have been preferible. The two owners of Shabby Chic that we have had the experience of in all of their restaurants before were not there this night. We know they are very attentive and give a very good service and I would imagine they would not be too happy with this review. I hope on reading this they will get their staff to improve on all of the above."

"They are attached to the well-known “the crab”, is a bar for some snacks, but I think the letter is not very attractive, I think the rice is not bad but I didn’t try, they have little gender of the area, we asked for sepia and it wasn’t bad, we asked for a specific table that was empty and they told us no, it was all empty night, I don’t understand that they wouldn’t give it."

"Pedimos un desayuno típico español (tostadas con tomate y jamon, zumo de naranja y un cafe con leche) y a pesar de que al principio nos echó para atrás ver la clientela que tenían (la mayoria turistas) y que los camareros tampoco era españoles, el desayuno estaba espectacular. Riquísimo y muchisimo mejor que otros que hemos tomado en bares más “españoles”. Muy recomendable y además la decoración es preciosa. Ponían atención hasta en los últimos detalles. Si tengo algo que decir es que se esperaron a que nos acabásemos el zumo para ponerlos las tostadas y el café"

"Encantado con todo, no puedo decir otra cosa. El servicio y atención, super, los camareros muy atentos como el responsable de sala, majisimo y súper agradable. "Sitio muy agradable para cenar o tomar deliciosos cócteles. A destacar la atención maravillosa y la rapidez para sacar los platos. "Overall a disappointment. We were looking for somewhere nice for our Christmas day meal. This place looked like it would be nice. The restaurant is pretty, it is in a nice marina and decor nice. On a sunny day would be lovely to sit with a drink. We visited in the evening, there were heaters on but we were still very cold, we sat with our jackets on for the whole meal. The food was nice, but nothing special. We have had better on our stay here in the area for half the price. It was very expensive for what it was. Avoid the pinyas saltea, it sounded good but was not nice when it came. Just a bit of cold Pineapple with average creme catalan poured over it. Would not visit again due to the high cost of the food. There was a note on the menu about how the seafood was fresh but then frozen, or something along those lines which I found unusual. Would hope for the price it would all be fresh."

"A beautiful venue with a hard working and very friendly staff. Extra credit to the friendly and very professional Romanian hostess, she's an Ace. A wide variety of food on the menu and our choice of food was just perfect as well as the wine selection. Very nicely situated at the Boulevard directly at the beach A wonderful atmosphere, perhaps you could call it with a touch of Mexican or Cuban style, very colorful, with some very enjoyable live music. We had a very pleasant evening and to finalize my comment... not to worry about the friendly bill. Definitely worth a 5 star rating."

"Another lovely Sunday lunch with visiting family at this chiringuito , As usual ,busy busy busy. Vegetable paella was a winner this time ,which included artichokes ,asparagus and butter beans ,with bbq chicken halves, following our first course of a sharing platter of frito misto.., griddled bread,tomatoes and allioli and the freshest, hugest ! mixed salad , with jugs of sangria and beer .all served by happy staff Thoroughly recommend,…..in my opinion……,best paella in the area, Plastic tables and chairs, small tumblers for drinks , paper tablecloths, loud families chatting, no music no pretentiousness ,Love it !"

"El trato al cliente fue magnífico, sobretodo del dueño, amable y cercano, nos pedimos un solomillo, bacalao y un salmón y tengo que decir que estaba todo buenísimo, no tanta las gambas al ajillo, los camareros han sido muy cercanos y amables, siempre intentado que tengas la mejor cena posible con sus chistes y anécdotas, un poco despistados, de beber probamos el famoso vino azul cuyo olor me hizo soñar despierto, de sabor no se quedaba corto, muy fresco, perfecto para el calor del verano.
