"I visited the pub by myself for Sunday lunch. I usually go there for drinks. I decided to try the Sunday lunch after hearing good things about it. The beer selection was great, which shows they take care of their drinks. The wine list was also very good, and I recommend the Chilean Sauvignon Blanc or the Marlborough. For my starter, I had the potato skin, which was surprisingly delicious and filling. The cheese and bacon filling was tasty, and the salsa was a nice touch. For my main course, I chose the Chicken roast, which was amazing. I also had Cauliflower Cheese, Pigs in blankets, and stuffing ball as sides, which I think are worth the extra cost. For dessert, I had the syrup sponge with ice cream, which was perfect. Overall, it was a great Sunday with good food and wine.
