Best Indian restaurant I have been to, food is great, staff are excellent and the restaurant is really nice. Never had a bad meal. Worthy of the awards they keep winning.

If it’s hair in your food your after or salted slop you found the place just for you complimented with rude obnoxious staff all that’s needed is the T on the end of name to sum this hovel up .

Great Food always at the Badsha, I find the service is great and good value for a night out! Good beers on draught and a lovely restaurant setting in the heart of tenterden. Will return back soon. Thanks for a good evening. Speisekarte ansehen

Having been to Badsha many times over the years I was shocked at the treatment of my wife recently. The owner (not the staff) was seriously rude and arrogant to a point where we will never visit or recommend this place again.

Visited this restaurant tonight. I hadn’t read about the health inspection until afterwards but it seemed very clean. What I can say is that it was one of the best curries that I have ever had. The staff were very friendly and I would certainly recommend the place.

Oh no, this restaurant has hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons in the local press for receiving a zero food hygiene rating after an unannounced inspection. Got to say we had no complaints regarding the meal but this zero rating will stop us returning anytime soon. Speisekarte ansehen

Our first and definitely last, we had read the reviews and thought this sounds positive award winning!, firstly the staff are rude, we were shown our table walking past the kitchen a man in the kitchen wearing catering cloths snorted from his nose to his mouth we all gasped in disbelief what had just happened we at this moment was going to walk out however we sat down. After being walked past several times by different members of staff I had to go and ask if we could order a drink, I was told to sit down they are busy ! We left never to return I can only put this down to an unfortunate experience however the restaurant felt dirty carpet that you wipe your feet on the way out !.

I have been shocked tonight by the customer service at Badsha. We have had lots of take aways from them over the last 2 years and have all generally been good. Tonight I ordered on line and it took 2 hours and 30 mins for the food to arrive. No one called to let me know that there was an issue. I phoned twice to ask the status. The first time after 1 hour 30 mins and was told its on the way. The second time after 2 hours and was told the same but the manager (Shohan) hung up on me saying that it wasn't his fault and that they had a driver issue ... The Badsha has been a restaurant in which we have eaten many times over several years, but after most recent occasion, definitely will not be going back. The food, in fairness, remains good, but the attitude of the staff.....Oh dear! Rude, hectoring, unsmiling and unfriendly. For example, shortly after sitting at our table (two couples, we were exchanging a small birthday gift, and it should have been a nice moment while our friend was opening her gift). The waiter chose this moment to insist and not pleasantly at that, we tell him how many poppadoms we wanted; he hovered, unsmiling, impatient all of these and more.
