"I write this review because now in this place we ate several times (I, my carlotta partner and our ida bass) , and so I think a judgement is right to give it. the place is beautiful, we have always found ourselves well, and the food is great. the quality is paid, and here obviously there is not a lot. all dishes are excellent, from appetizer to dessert, all done by them! if I have to find a small sin (but this is more a tip than anything else) is on the appetizers to divide. because some are a bit complicated to divide (like the crossaint to salmon and avocado, very good) and maybe it would be to study the dish in a different way, all here! I recommend it for those who want to eat something different from the usual restaurant, and who also wants quality by spending something extra."

"We happened by chance in a hot summer day in the peak hour where everything was full. It was like being catapulted in a fresh oasis of peace. the menu seemed rich and inviting, in some cases also sought after. delicious dishes, for fresh and well processed raw materials. we have taken some excellent crostini with shrimp (freschissimi) and baccalà mantecato (ottimo.) grilled moscardini (teneri e gustoti) with pisellini, cold calamarata of vegetables. and the really classy touch for us was that they had the legendary lashes as coffee kill! we never find it anywhere compliments!"

"Pioveva e non ci sono entrata. Ma mi é venuta una bella foto a ricordo di cosa avveniva poco piú avanti sul Ponte Vecchio, le di giovedí luglio. Un assembramento di furgoni, il ponte a festa con tanti tavoli imbanditi e sopra ad ogni tavolo dei fiori. Stasera cena di gala. Basta gaurdare le montagne per capire che pioverà, gli organizzatori, cellulari in mano poco se ne preoccupano. I camerieri, gli adetti in alta uniforme sfacchinano, organizzati disinstallano. E quello che c'era non c'era piú. Piove."

"This is another place that had been recommended by a friend who visits the area regularly. As always, he was spot on. They have a very comfortable room with a lot of interesting things to hold your attention while waiting for your food. There is a nice contrast of elegant china and crystal in the rustic setting. Service was friendly and efficient. We were a party of four and everything came out together and was properly prepared. The menu seems to change seasonally, if not weekly. We started with two of the appetizer trays what had a lot in interesting things including carpaccio of venison and a number of seafood items. The pasta portions were large enough to share – an order of gnocchi and an order of risotto for four people. We ordered four different secondi, mostly meat, and all were great. The wine list was deep and reasonably priced, especially the local wines. We would return without hesitation."

"Cena per due. Ristorante circondato dalle colline Bassanesi. Interno accogliente e poco rumoroso. Personale molto gentile e cordiale. Cena con due antipasti e due secondi, un contorno, un dessert, una bottiglia di vino, un'acqua e un caffè. Ci hanno offerto un entree e l'amaro. Tutto molto buono soprattutto l'antipasto con i tri di crudo. Come un ottimo secondo l'embrione. Le eccellenti verdure pastellate con la dolce sorpresa della crema fritta, per leccare i baffi. Sicuramente invitando il primo che proverà la prossima volta. Bene. Assaggiate il limoncello fatto in casa, diverso dal solito come aveva zafferano. Prezzo finale 130€. Direi che ho visto bene il menu'."

"Ero a Bassano e cercavo un locale informale dove pranzare rispetto ad altri locali ho letto su TA delle buone recensioni ed ho scelto di pranzare alla Caneva. Il locale all’interno non è molto grande ma c’è un buono spazio all’esterno per i mesi estivi . Il Locale è informale stile osteria e personalmente mi è piaciuto . Il personale è simpatico e ti mette a tuo agio , gli altri avventori (turisti e lavoratori) completavano un quadro allegro e spigliato . Il menù è presentato scritto con il gesso su una lavagna che viene messa davanti ai tavoli . Ho scelto un antipasto di prosciutto di Montagnana e burrata (buono) e dei ravioli al baccalà molto interessanti con ripieno di baccalà e conditi con il baccalà alla vicentina della casa . Per dolce una crema catalana memorabile veramente top ! Ho bevuto un caffe, un calice di vino della zona e acqua . Prezzo adeguato . Un solo neo ed un consiglio , il bagno ha bisogno di una sistemazione. Complessivamente tutto positivo , ci tornerò appena capiterà l’occasione . Consigliato"

"Gita a Bassano del Grappa improvvisata, io e mia morosa abbiamo deciso di pranzare in questa osteria, fortunatamente c 'era ancora posto.A mio gusto l 'interno molto carino, mi è piaciuto particolarmente l 'arredo: molto semplice ma con alcuni particolari che rendono l 'ambiente coccolo . Per quanto riguarda il cibo, abbiamo mangiato un antipasto di salumi e formaggi e degli gnocchi con chiodini (i porcini erano terminati), squacquerone e straccetti di Black Angus (se non ricordo male). Il tagliere abbondante con ottimi affettati, buona anche la giardiniera che li accompagnava. Per quanto riguarda gli gnocchi mancavano leggermente di sapidità, quel ingrediente con un sapore più deciso probabilmente. Ci avrei aggiunto anche un qualcosa di croccante per fare contrasto. "we had booked for the first round, unfortunately we had problems and we arrived almost another 20.00 were attacked, if it hadn't been for the other people with whom I was there I would have gone. I understand that we had taken half an hour to our turn but without knowing what we would eat and so how much we would have put it seemed to me exaggerated the way, could we have noticed otherwise the problem, if of problem we could talk. At 9:00 we were done and paid! the meat was good both beef carpaccio and tartare. grilled vegetables (which I don't think it is necessary to do at the moment) were raw, fried potatoes were first boiled, asparagus pasta, although having excellent asparagus, did not exalt. I wonder how they'll do it in summer. of dying hot in there and perhaps a more powerful vacuum cleaner in the kitchen would also help smells in the room. I won't be back, but not for food, for ways."

"On a thundery lighting night with large rain drops falling we entered Nero Pece to be greeted by smiling staff who, after asking if we wanted to speak Italian or English, went through their (to je) unique pricing, 3 or 4 portions on a plate. I opted for vegetarian lasagne with mushrooms and hazelnuts, a fajita and caprese. All were beautiful, we chose Chianti which they serve in 1/2 bottles, again a first for me. Lovely food, ambience and left feeling very happy after coffee and Tiramasyly! Well we are in Italy."

"I arrived with my family when they opened at 1800 hrs on a Saturday. We were greeted with a warm welcome and were able to sit wherever we wanted. After a few minutes, he came and took our order; Piatto Galloway, veggie club sandwich and a hamburger. 10-15 minutes later, we had the food on the table. Only the Piatto Galloway had french fries with it, but there were plenty to share with my wife and son. The chicken was not dry, but not super moist either...the sauce with it though made it really good. I don't know how the club sandwich was because when I was about to ask, she took the last bite...so I guess it was yummy. My son asked if he could have dessert and chose vanilla ice cream with frutto del bosco. He received two huge scoops of ice cream with the fruit. There was enough for all three of us to share. By the time we were leaving, around 1900 hrs, it was starting to get busy with a lot of take-out and the younger crowd. Did I find something I didn't like? not on this trip. Will I go again? Yes."

"Randomly happened on Saturday at lunch. The place is a stone's throw from the famous Alpine Bridge. When we entered there were only 3/4 free tables and the place is not very large. Contrary to previous reviews I found all the friendly staff and the waitress with red hair and very nice and fast glasses. Only sin the tables are very small, in a 4-seat table you are just right in two ..! Very assorted bruschetta menu! Very good bruschetta and also the mess. SUPER sweets and coffee, although served in a big cup (in a previous review it was criticized), was good cmq. Correct account!"

"When you have had enough pizza, this restaurant will provide a real culinary experience from this part of Italy! We had white asparagus risotto, fish and steak with assorted grilled vegetables, and even asparagus ice cream with passionfruit sauce! The wines they paired with our meals were perfect, and they made a simple tomato pasta for our son. We stayed at a nearby hotel which gave us 10% off our bill. We left very full and happy!"

"Once in a while, you get very lucky and find a gem. This was my lucky day! Trying to find a restaurant within walking distance from our bed and breakfast, I stumbled upon this jewel. It is a combination store, wine cantina and very small restaurant about 6 tables)but they serve up food fit for a king! Not only that, we sat in their cantinetta small wine cellar) that only accomodated one table. Simone, the owner, was our waiter and he made sure that our evening was very special. First, he brought us the tenderest and lightest fried pumpkin flowers. Then a seafood antipasto with octopus and a zucchini sauce incredible). Homemade bread with carrots and pumpkin seeds as well as other delightful breads. Our entree was a risotto with porcini and a special cheese from the area. For dessert, profriteroles made in house with chocolate and whipped cream. OMG! This little place is on the outskirts of Bassano del Grappa in Romano d'Ezzelino. If you are ever in Bassano del Grappa, make it your business to go there! Sorry, but some of the pictures were of half eaten food...we got excited and ate before thinking about the pictures but rest assured, they were beautifully presented when they came out. If you are a wine connoisseur, you will love this place as well."
