"Visited the fantastic restaurant with family and from the moment we walked in, we were astounded. Kay welcomed us with a pleasant greeting and was incredibly friendly. He really couldnt have done more to make us feel comfortable. Drinks came quickly and the mojitos were on point. Truly beautiful. For starters we had peri peri chicken with papadom one of my favourite items on the menu. So delicious. Thank you for this. You outdid yourself. The mixed grill starters was succulent my baby who is a fussy eater ravished this. And then the mains, the biryani was amazing so different to what ive had before. The falvour of the curries the spicy with the rich texture to die for! The dessert was no less impressive than the rest of the fruit. And delivered with such precision. Warm melt in you mouth chocolate fudge cake topped with rich vanilla ice cream and a dollop of cream. We were so heatwarmed by the service Kay and his team offered. They literally went to town and back for us. Indali Kitchen is a real gem hidden away. Be sure to give it a go and its a treasure to be found. Thank you."

"I cannot praise Sorento Pizza enough! My original pizza van caterer bailed on me a week before my party, but Sorento swooped in and saved the day with less than a week's notice. They fulfilled my order of 50 14-inch pizzas without any issues, and even accommodated an additional 6 pizzas I added the day before without a problem. The large order was delivered on time, piping hot, and most importantly, incredibly delicious. All of my party guests raved about the pizzas!"

"- Donner Kebab: 10/10. Absolutely fantastic, whether it's the dipped donner or stir fry. I would definitely order this again. - Chips: 10/10. Even after traveling back, they were still crispy and tasty. The red salt is amazing. - Chicken Tikka: 4/10. Very dry and lacking in flavor. It could be due to eating it long after collection, but the flavor is still missing. - Honey Sauce: 2/10. Not sure what the intention is here. I had a few people try it with different items, but it didn't quite work. It might be better if it was thicker and spicier to pair beautifully with chicken. - Pizza: 5/10. The Margherita pizza was okay, but it could use more tomato. It was a bit hard for us, probably due to the travel time. Maybe reducing the time under the grill would help. Overall, I would rate the restaurant 6.5/10. I would order again, but I would lean more towards the donner options."

"6 of us dined at 630pm on a Monday Bank Holiday evening and it was actually very good , we had to call the waiter over for drinks once seated but once we ordered all was great, drinks all good quality and no complaints on the food the Pasta all 'Amatriciana was very tasty 3 of us had it two asked for more chilli was sorted no problem , my tomato garlic bread was super, after 9pm the place began to get quieter so we had the place pretty much to ourselves we were seeing friends from London Who had travelled up so the beautiful decor of the main lounge, the freindly and funny head waiter made it a great place to catch up we will for sure go again"

"I 'm really disappointed that this didn 't live up to the recommendations! We came as a family of 5 and I ordered the chilli. We weren 't told that this was going to be spicy. The food arrived and looked lovely with generous portions. Unfortunately, the chilli was ridiculously hot. We approached the staff and asked for some sour cream and was told the chefs were already making one and they would bring it over to me. This indicated that they already knew it was too spicy...after 10 minutes we asked again and was told that they were still trying to make this. We had to go up again everyone had finished their meals at this point and we we were then told that they had unsuccessfully tried twice but they couldn 't get it right. There was no attempt to put things right, I only ate the chips and rice and left a whole bowl of chilli when I raised it again with a staff member who just said oh and walked off. The man that cleared the table was also told again that the chilli was far too hot and his response was oh . He didn 't return to clear the rest of the table. Having worked in hospitality I have always gone above and beyond to rectify issues and this is what has frustrated me more then anything. The rest of the food looked lovely but the experience attitude of the staff means I can 't do anything other then leave an honest review. Very disappointed! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4"

"On arrival we stood for 5 minutes or so before a member of staff acknowledged us, we probably should have left at this point. We were directed to a table near the entrance which was filthy, but we were told someone would be over to wipe it and take a drinks order some 15 minutes someone arrived, we placed our drinks order, but when we asked her to wipe the table, I was clearly an inconvenience! After a few minutes more, we placed our order and were quickly served our starters, drinks still haven't arrived so a further prompt made to our server. The starters were okay, although my chicken tenders were swimming in grease. After a few minutes wait we got our mains, which visually looked stunning, the burgers were great, however the fries had been overcooked to the point they had no potato left in them. Given the poor service we ran out of time to try the deserts. We won't be back, the service hasn't improved since our last visit."

"Had been at the Steam Museum and our son thought this pub would be suitable for a nice Sunday lunch. Arrived at 1:15 for a slightly later booking and taken straight to table a place half empty. Menus provided and orders taken quite quickly. Food when it arrived looked good but was not as tasty as expected. Roast beef was two small slices nicely cooked but of little taste especially without the gravy. Yorkshire pub was large but only slightly crispy and generally quite bland. Roast potatoes were OK but outside not crispy. Veg was not much better. Believe chicken was a better option. Drinks were OK but expensive at .50 for a pint of lime and lemonade enough to drive you to alcohol. When plates cleared offered dessert menu but it took over 20 mins to arrive so declined and paid the bill instead. Overall a fairly moderate meal at 15pp."

"After two previously awful experiences, including the last one whereby Hungry Horse “helpfully” responded to ask for more details and gave no way whatsoever to actually contact them, I swore I’d never come again. Despite being give a menu (ha… we’ll come back to that) of other soft play options, she begged and pleaded to come here, so I relented. So what went wrong this time? Yet again, rudeness and inconsistency. After playing for a little while, my daughter asked for chips. I went to order some and was told rudely, “We don’t do food”. When I asked why there was a family opposite my table eating three full breakfasts, I was told that this was because they had ordered before 11am off the breakfast menu. This, despite us having eaten here several times before, and a full menu being listed on the website page for THIS Wacky Warehouse. And so, again, I was left explaining to an autistic child why something that would normally happen here hasn’t happened. And we can’t have chips, even though there’s a pub/restaurant next door, but at 11:30am there are adults At several tables drinking beer? This whole thing is an absolute joke."

"I've been visiting the jolly crofters for a few years, especially for the Monday night quiz, which is much better than any other pub quiz I've ever made. the pub itself is full of history and character, there is a great selection of drinks. (particularly lagurs) and all at a reasonable price. my partner and I had a few meals in the pub and were always very impressed by the quality, price and taste in the kitchen. the natives are a friendly, welcoming bundle, but they are the owners for me that covers it and lets me go back. alison and barrie have made a brilliant job, personable, friendly and really decent people who do a lot for charity in the opposite too. recommend a stop when they are in the opposite or when they live locally but never have been in."

"We don't typically visit this place often, but a group of us decided to stop by early on a Saturday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised. While it may not be my top choice for a brewery, there are plenty of other drink options available. We enjoyed the sunny weather by sitting at a table outside, which offered a fantastic view of all the activity around us. They even had a television showing the races from Royal Ascot. The prices were reasonable, but we were advised to be cautious about the car park. If you leave your car there, it's important to register it as they strictly enforce this rule and you may receive a fine if you fail to do so."

"Ordered a starter garlic bread with cheese. Arrived with a lump of cheese on cheese on top. Not evenly spread and very dry. Then waited an hour for main which was worse than the starter. Had ordered a margarita pizza with additional toppings. Toppings were...very dry and were just thrown on top. Not much tomato spread and not much cheese. No flavour or taste. It felt like chewing on cardboard. When I raised this with the waiter I was told that they’re quite busy today with lots of people attending following their exam results. Not sure what this has to do with the quality of the food. No refund given because I ate part of it. Didn’t want to wait another hour so put up with the thing."

"The pub has recently re opened along the theme of fine ales and tapas. When the owner is present all is fine he's calm, cheerful, engaging and customer focused. The tapas and food is improving and Maz really does care about his food. The recently added Sunday Roast at £6.99 is a good price but as this is week one I'm yet to try it ! Maz works hard and has high standards. When the boss is away the mice will play! Service at the bar slides, the staff are less engaging and some find their phones more interesting than the customers. Then there's the gents ! Again if the boss is there attention to detail is everything but when he's away ...... The imminent introduction of sport will help but at the minute, great location, good food, good car parking but the bar staff are letting the side down badly !!"

"Visited this place several times and the food is consistently good! The place is always busy but the manager (I think he’s called Safraz) is always really attentive and makes sure we get a table as soon as possible. The sizzlers are huge and always really filling- they come with chips, rice and a choice of noodles or pasta- I went for noodles and was not disappointed. I had vegetable Manchurian to start and it was amazing, spicy and saucy just how I like it. The garlic naan was so fresh and tasty too. It’s the perfect place to go and eat on a cold winters night when you want a hearty delicious meal. Safraz manages the restaurant well and isn’t afraid to get stuck in and do the work as well as his staff. All the staff are really friendly and on hand to serve you more drinks, breads throughout. Will definitely be visiting again!"

"I went in with my family to eat on 31st July 2021 to Bolton Pepes, we ordered chicken strips, chicken wings, chicken nuggets and fried rice. We found hair in the fried rice, the rice was uncooked, and informed the staff, they give us another potion to take away. The chicken pieces were hard and rubbery, looked as if it was re-heated food that they give us. Lots of powdery sauce poured all over the chicken. They should give us fresh food, it’s what we paid for (it’s not cheap prices) The next morning we all had sickness and diareha, this was due to the food poisoning of there food. I rang up to speak to manager, I was passed over to him, as soon as I explained about food poisoning, the person said he wasn’t the manager couldnt do anything about it, spoke in a rude manner and told me to ring tomorrow, there was no apologies or wasn’t concerned at all. I asked for his name and said he wasn’t allowed to give out their names, I thought it was ridiculous. I rate them 0 for food and customer service. Instead of ringing them I will be ringing the council."

"having positive experiences with Hong Hu .my two friends and I ,ordered for delivery from the new menu. I ordered from the Ok Dishes section. Which states deep fried in batter as the heading and lists a choice of beef, chicken , prawn ,and pork .so I ordered pork and some chips to go with it we quoted the numbers on the menu. My friends chose crispy beef with egg fried rice and chow mien with three different meats in it . When the order was delivered .there was no receipt so at first hand ,couldn’t confirm what we had ordered we had reckoned the cost and the girl we spoke to confirmed that ,so we gave the delivery man that amount along with delivery cost and a tip on dishing mine out ,I soon realised I had been given king prawn in batter which I loathe. My friend with the chow mien found there was no meat in her noodles. I rang the shop and was told they don’t do pork in batter.when I explained that there ok menu was misleading sh e said sorry .i asked to be delivered something in its place but she said I would have to pay again which I found unreasonable as it was their mistake. I got nowhere and she insisted my friend who placed the order said prawn which we all knew was untrue as we heard her. Very disappointing. The friend with the chow mien was so disappointed she went to the shop and showed how there was no meat in the dish .the girl found the receipt and said she had ordered and been charged just for soft noodles. She fought her corner and said we had given the delivery man the money for the more expensive chow Mien. The shop was full of customers and it was embarrassing but in the end they said they didn’t want her to be disappointed so they gave her the right dish she had ordered . I though, am still disappointed . I think part of the problem was the poor communication .i expected more from you Hong Hu and won’t be using you again"

"Early Saturday evening dining for four. Generally good. Comfortable seating, but in an empty Dining area we were put immediately by the entranceexit corridor. Our order comprised a mix of a la Carte and Tapas dishes. Two Tapas dishes were not up to scratch and probably yesterday's in my opinion. We sent the Chorizo back before trying the Patatas Bravas and other dishes five in total. On reflection, the Patatas Bravas should have been sent back too. Good beer and decent wine Albarino but not wholly impressed by the food"

"I love the food from this restaurant, but the delivery was extremely delayed, so I had to cancel my order. The delivery driver was probably not happy as payment was in cash. I was not happy either, as I had to leave my house before receiving my food. The excuse of being busy is not acceptable, as they had emailed me a delivery time and were aware of the outstanding orders when I placed mine. If I had known that my order would take an extra hour to deliver, I would not have placed it in the first place."
