Good menu, lovely staff but some small details lacking. Eg blown lightbulb in the dining room. A heavy hand with the salt in the hake sauce. But for Bolton this place is exceptional

Lovely friendly restaurant serving smashing food at reasonable prices. Portion sizes are spot on. Like the fact that tables are well spaced so you have a bit of privacy. What more could you want? Speisekarte ansehen

What a great restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Portion sizes are generous. Starter, mains and dessert were fantastic. Opted for a fillet steak for a main meal. Cooked to perfection. And Nick is a great chap as well. Looking forward to another meal with them.

We have been to Nicks a few times including Christmas Day. Our recent visit we had some great fish for mains and the food and service was outstanding. Would be rude not to have some of the lovely deserts and always difficult deciding which one to have! We are going back next week to celebrate our anniversary!

We dine at Nicks regular or as much as we can as it’s just superb. We had our Christmas Day lunch there and it was just perfect, great ambience, stunning service as always by Tanya and the team and delicious food. Another great night at Nicks with Tanya and the team ensuring everything was spot on. Friendly and attentive service and the food was excellent. The crab and crayfish ravioli is superb. Mains were mainly fish and steaks and everyone was delighted with their choice. We will return in the not too distant future. Highly recommended for anyone who wants delicious food in a pleasant environment

Once we had found the restaurant (Uber has the old restaurant address) we found a very nice environment, with a really good ambience. The food and service was very good as were the wines and after lunch drinks. All in all a very good experience, great staff and we met and chatted with Nick, the owner, whic is always a nice touch when the owner wants to understand how your experience went in his restaurant. Thoroughly recommended. Good quality, reasonable price

Visited Nick’s today with 5 friends for lunch. We all chose different meals except two of us that had the 2 course lunch menu. One lady is vegan and was given her own vegan menu to chose from which was brilliant! Between us we had a variety of food from gorgeous pea soup, seafood paella to teriyaki tofu and everything in between! Drinks were brought in a timely manner and the service was excellent! Coffee followed and it was good! As an aside, a number of us visited the Ladies and we all commented about the cleanliness of it. The whole restaurant was spotless and the decor beautiful.
