"Awful is the only way to describe this! Which is upsetting. Having never ever left a bad review even more so in my home town, I feel I need to let people know how unwelcoming this place is. We had booked a table for 4 and were placed in a table for two squished between 2 tables for 4. One empty and one beyond raucous! We moved along but was then informed by the manager/owner ours was the table in the middle. The group on the adjoining table had spread onto where we were expected to eat/drink. If felt very intimidating and uncomfortable. When we said we had booked a table for 4, we were informed ‘so has my wife!’ Maybe not the response I was expecting as a customer! To be fair when the ladies came over they were extremely gracious and happy to sit in the space we were supposed to sit in. Obviously more aware of their surroundings and possibly knew the customers weren’t regular! The manager came back over and when I said it was awful and he asked why?!? He said he couldn’t help who comes into his establishment!!! I totally agree but as the manager you are in charge and have responsibility to ensure that customers feel comfortable and safe!!! The group eventually left (following friends who I believe didn’t pay for their drinks! and we were moved along. I can honestly say if it wasn’t for the kindness of the lady who was in the party of the owners wife we wouldn’t have stayed. She showed compassion and was fully aware of an awful situation that no one should face when going for a lovely night out with friends. The owner/manager needs to up skill on customer service. The food was great (minus the tomato pizza that was delivered to another table but his attitude and treatment of customers was quite honestly shocking."

"Where do is start with the restaurant... Firstly the food was limited we had to wait 10/15 minutes for rice to be cooked, ban bread to be cooked, the salad was stale and not fresh, the chicken jalfrezi looked old and all mashed, the jelly was not set at all. Secondly the service, the drinks came after 10 minutes of us being there. The mango lassi was so watery and no hint of mango in it. They had no sprite, 7up or diet coke. Thirdly the bill, the staff was so argumentative about the age of our children. I have given birth to my children and know how old they are, they may appear older physically however the staff member became defensive and said they do not look their age. I found this very saddening that for couple of pounds the male staff member wanted to argue with me in front of my young children who he could see was getting clearly distressed. I offered him to pay full however he had the decency to say that you have done this before. Accusing me of being untruthful about my children’s age and visiting the restaurant before. Then he had the nerves to ask my children in front of me ‘you have visited here before’ which my children stated no its our first time. This is how unprofessional the staff and illmannerd they are as they asked my children when me as a parent confirmed that i have not visited the restaurant before... I am still upset, angry and hurt by the staff members allegations of being untruthful. I will never visit this restaurant, please stay away from this place."

"vegetarian hidden gem, big caffe. see this pop-up on happy cow, pleased as it is in my hometown, that is now a vegan caffe and a vegetarian caffe that have opened in burnley in the same month! I never went to the red triangle, but it is where the former vegetarian caffeine was. it is a “link and they miss it”. we went past a few times before we found it. aptly named ‘a sixty’ and located on 160 st James’ street. great central location. they have a normal menu and a special board. everything on the menu was either vegan or vegan beside the halloumi burger, everything on the special board could be vegan and from the display cabinet was nothing vegan except the bananenbrot. I would say it would be great to offer vegan cakes as well as vegetarian! we ordered a latte and a shallow white, they do both hafer and soy milk for vegans. my man (omnivore) and I both ordered everything completely vegan and loved our food! Between us we had mac and cheese that came with black pudding and was delicious and garlicky and the specialties; thai burger (yellow and spicy, delicious) sweet potato wedge (perfect cooked with great taste,) pfancake and banan the best! the bananas were caramelized and so tasteful. you could have had blueberries instead. can't wait to have it back. a couple of bananenbrot took home, was again beautiful. for everything, plus another flat white it was £25.10 very reasonable! inside there is a wood burner that creates a cozy feeling. there are 5 tables where you sit. beautiful atmosphere with music in the background. the personal was friendly. they plan to make future art events! 2 unisex toilets are located above. I suppose it's dog friendly as there's a lovely 6 weeks old patterdale welpe in with a family when we were there."
