"We ate here twice over a period of two weeks and I am not sure why. It was relatively convenient for us and the first time I wondered why our experience was so different from those mentioned on TripAdvisor but having eaten there twice I have to say the experience was the same both times. So the service is pretty appalling. Apart from the man who takes your order, most of the waitresses are rude including slamming down drinks and generally looking sullen. We were put on the worst table in the house in an empty restaurant. The food isn’t great either. We have had cold food, food that came with ingredients not listed on the menu and none of it was really that great. And yet the place fills up quickly .... I guess you get a better service if you are local or Italian. I would suggest avoid if you are a tourist"

"Non fermatevi soltanto ai piedi del castello, salite qualche centinaio di metri più in su. Alla Spiga D'oro abbiamo trovato una Cucina casereccia, locale, e ben variegata. Abbiamo trovato una famiglia che ci ha accolto e ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Porzioni abbondanti, prezzi decenti, e un servizio adattato alle esigenze del cliente nei minimi particolari.
