"First impressions seemed good, a large busy establishment with very few tables free. The staff were welcoming and sat us down quickly. Unfortunately the table was quite dirty and we had to ask for it to be cleaned and other tables where people had finished their meal weren't cleaned away for a while. We ordered drinks, starters and mains. The drinks came quickly, followed by the starters Hummus and olives with bread. Was a great light starter for us both, full of flavour and wasn't too small nor too large. We then waited 40 minutes for our main. It was obvious that the staff were very short (1 in the kitchen, 2 on the floor) for a busy and sunny Sunday, and couldn't cope with the amount of people in the restaurant. I saw the young of the waitresses clean a wet spot on a table wiht a napkin, and then leave it there for the next customers, with the knife and fork laid atop of it. Once the food had arrived, it was bland, small sized portions and wasn't very fresh. We were not the only ones with this issue with several other tables waiting very long for food only to have something a bit dreary laid in front of them. Someone had spaghetti bolognese, and it was clear the pasta wasn't drained properly but the way it was all swimming. Another lady had a lamb and rice dish, with the rice looking very plain and boring and every so small portions. The menu had no real identity taking food from a wide array of cultures. There was a man wandering in and out of the establishment, who I presume is the owner by his audacious attire, who obviously had no clue what was going on in the kitchen and lives in a fairy land. The staff are undertrained and clueless (one waitresses was on her third day and had no idea of what drinks were on offer or if dishes were in stock), the hygeine is questionable and the food was poor. I would stay clear of this place and search for a different restaurant, or at the weekends visit the food market across the road."

"Sorry to say this place is awful! The decoration is fun with photos of Latin America its culture, and the music is a good mix of salsa, bachata, cumbia and pasillos, but that does not make up for the dreadful food and customer service. I was in between appointments after work, hungry and tired so went in and had a classic quesadilla something quick and light. The cheese was a mix of (I think) chedder and what tasted like fake cheese from a can absolutely disgusting taste that lasted in my mouth for about 30 minutes, even after drinking loads of water! The quesadilla had some kind of spice in it, I asked the waiter, he said it was salsa certainly not fresh, homemade salsa. The pico de gallo was basically: tomato (not fresh), 3 bits of coriander, huge chunks of red onion no lemon or lime juice (I prefer lime in mine), garlic, and zero chilli and dry! I asked the waiter for some lime juice to give the pico some flavour and liquid as it should have, and he gave me a shot glass of LIME CORDIAL!!!!I took 3 bites of the food and just could not eat anymore. I told them I was not happy and didnt want to pay, the manager just didnt know what to say, no initiative at all. I left without paying. There was only one other table a family of 4 in the restaurant, and that was it! The bar tender/waiter and manager were just standing around awkwardly. Please do not even waste your time, the food is not at all fresh and the staff are gormless. There are much better, more authentic Mexican restaurants in the capital."

"My sister and I went to this pub today for a late lunch. We ordered food after a long wait for someone to take our order. When the food came, it was over cooked and inedible, particularly my sister’s meal. She spoke to the manageress who was completely disinterested but offered take part of her meal off of the bill. When it came to settling the bill, we said we were not happy that we were paying for any of the food as it was all inedible. My sister asked to speak to the landlord, but he refused to speak to us and sent his manageress who had already made it clear she had no interest. We begrudgingly paid the bill and, on our way out, my sister approached the landlord who was instantly aggressive and refused to enter into any discussion smirking and saying he had more important things to do. Out of frustration, my sister, unfortunately, used some strong language. At which point, the landlord became very threatening, chasing us out and saying things like “See what happens next” and “you haven’t heard the end of this “. He followed us out and repeatedly implied that something bad was going to happen to us. He was so vile that I must admit I am concerned he could try to track us down from my credit card details. I am going to report this to the police in case there is any “payback” for us having the audacity to complain about a terrible meal! In all my years of dining out, I have had some rubbish customer service, but I have never been intimidated and threatened for complaining,"
