"Nicely located, overlooking the Trieux river, just a short walk from the cathedral this is a good place for lunch or evening meal. Always welcoming, the menu selection has a good range of fish meat or vegetarian dishes with a changing lunchtime menu. I like...the modern feel of the place which was once an old stone building, tastefully transformed into a light and airy place to eat and relax. This place scores highly on the aesthetic side of eating which to me has great importance. Food is always perfectly presented without it pretentiously looking like it has prepared by Picasso or chucked on the plate by an angry and overworked chef. Sometimes they have the shellfish Ormeau. which if you like scallops, I would highly recommend. The place can be very busy at lunchtime with many people having business lunches so go early to avoid waiting. In fact my only criticism is that service can be slow if it is already busy and you turn up after for lunch. When in France, as I have said before, to get the best service and the plat du jour go early as you can. This is not a consumer led country, you have to fit in with them!"
