"I decided to buy some ice creams from Twist. Firstly, the Ferrero Rocher flavour feels like 1 small piece of the chocolate has been mixed into 2 litres of vanilla ice cream. The Chocolate chip had no chips in it and was plain chocolate! There were a few minimal amounts of chips sprinkled on the top but if that was the only place they would be the server should have assured that we got some actual chips in it. Both scoops had no chips in it! What’s the point?? There were a few other minor issues that wouldn’t have mattered but since I have got this awful treatment from the retailer… The senior staff on duty that day had a foul face and did not even acknowledge me. The junior staff was quite nervous around her and left my card in the card machine. To add to the horrible experience and my main reason for the review, I was charged twice!! When I noticed this error on my bank statement I contacted the retailer via email, and provided proof of receipts and screenshots of my bank statement. “Mitul” got back to me and asked for a few days to investigate. After that he emailed me to ask for my no. to discuss and then silence! I received no phone call. I sent two emails after that over the next couple of days and no response, they were ignored. I now have had to contact the fraud department of my bank to recover the money and could have avoided the hassle if “Mitul” had a backbone. Needless to say I will not visit again and please be careful of your card transactions with this company."

"Visited Royal China, Harrow 14th July, apart from no table linen, food was really tasty and was happy to return which we did 22nd August, did we walk into a different restaurant? The service was awful, i have never been a Chinese restaurant where you do not get complimentary prawn crackers, even when ordering a take away you always get prawn crackers on the house. Sad to say that Royal China have dispensed with that tradition, we got charged for prawn crackers. The food this time round was dreadful, luke warm, bland, the shredded crispy beef was shredded chewy beef, no birds nest as advertised. What a public display of penny-pinching, it was truly pitiful, charge for prawn crackers, no table linen, not even a napkin, only a small paper thing. One has to ask, if they are penny-pinching in public, what penny-pinching are we not seeing? one can only speculate, could explain only being awarded a 4 on the green sticker???? We shall give this place a wide berth."

"I just wanted to give a shoutout to Spice Rack and their team. We had a fantastic family dinner at the restaurant, and they were excellent from start to finish. The restaurant started off quiet but quickly filled up, yet the service never faltered. Despite serving a large group of 23, they still managed to take care of all the other patrons. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was spot on. The Papad Crispy Corn will definitely be on our order list for next time. The Gunpowder Fries were better than Nandos peri fries. The Salt and Pepper Broccoli was a nice surprise - not deep fried and perfectly seasoned. The Chilli Garlic Mogo had a unique garlic chutney flavor and crunchy texture. The Vegetable Manchurian was not soggy and the sauce was fantastic. The Mari Chicken Tikka was a new favorite, while the Seekh Kebab was tasty despite being a bit thin. The Tawa Fish had a Goan twist with a semolina coating. The Chilli Cheese Naan was addictive, although I would prefer a less mature cheese. The Chilli Paneer was a hit with the vegetarians, while the Daal Tadka and Kadai Keema Peas were also standouts. The Chicken Biryani was flavorful and the Jeera Rice was exactly as expected. The Butter Naan was soft and perfect for dipping. The Tandoori Paratha was a nice change from traditional naan. Overall, a fantastic dining experience at Spice Rack."

"I recently dined at Mr. Chilly Express and had an absolutely outstanding experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for a perfect evening. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every detail of our meal was impeccable. The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes, and everything we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. "Scammers! We decided to have a large family dinner here and we’re overcharged by £60. My mother orders from them frequently for her large dinners at home when she is unable to cook. The order was pre agreed and we only order some drinks and 4 portions of chips when arrived. He already had added £30 service charge and because of the drinks and chips he added an extra £30 at the end, which by the way were such small portions and overcooked. Not to mention they charge £5 per portion for their tiny portions of overcooked frozen chips. Never going here again. We were at balkh the week before and the price of the exact same house special was £11 cheaper than Masa?! The next day when my mother called to confront them about the double service charge he tried to say it’s not something they can control it goes to tax ?! Absolute scammers and the fact that they lie to someone they know wouldn’t understand is just disgusting. Glad to have realised this and will never return and will not let my mum order from them for her family events. There’s balkh and Mazar which are far more honest in pricing and always add freebies too. Managed to attach a picture of the infamous chips it’s in the background."

"last week my father had his first meal since the pandemic in leefe robinson and what a way to celebrate! the meal was absolutely cumbersome, my dad had the ribeye steak and I had the sirloin and they were from this world. delicious together with the refreshing salate and blue cheese and crispy wobbles laaf and fries. our fools were very happy at the end. for more than 40 years we have come to the leefe robinson in his various restaurant incarnations and the miller and carter is by far the best! also a scream from the legendary waitress pat who has worked for the restaurant for 4 decades that we are there and she is amazing, so warm and beautiful interpersonal skills and professionalism! she is really a good font for the restaurant! we are looking forward to our next visit! Thanks again for a fabulous time! x"

Chilli distributors to die for. crispy bhajias so crispy with the mouth water crispy these two dishes will come back again and again. no wonder every time I pass, it is jamming in all tabs are full: even their indo Chinese menu is finger licking good. jdm special noodles soouu gooood! tikka masala. the sauce is so deep and taste has such deep that when they close their eyes, they were in a back alley in mumbai instead of in north harrow. yes, this is a pure Veg place, but I have so many of my friends here in the usually only dinate to Steak houses, but loved this place. jai durga!!! this is!!! and if you ask yourself because a veggie is not easily satisfied, but jai durga gets my thumb every time when no word of a lie I must have eaten there and has been with 20 different occasions now every time when it never fails to disappoint .oh yes they now have sweet paan there also .say no more!!!"

"Unattended counter. Waiting 7 mins then had to knock the kitchen door to get someone to serve me. Lady took my order extra polite knowing how pissed off I was! Ordered a coffee and breakfast bap, coffee took 15 mins to appear and breakfast bap took 40 mins. I wasted 1.5 hours just getting a simple coffee and bap, ridiculous service. Cafe was quite dirty with hardly any tables free. Outdoor tables full of dirty crockery that nobody cleared, until it started to rain then they decided to clear the tables. I think because it was almost closing time they were then rushing to quickly clear up so they can go home asap!! They didn’t care that people had nowhere to sit. But then again we all go to work to collect money, we don’t go to exactly serve people…let’s be honest"

"We went for the Early Bird menu and arrived just after 6pm. We had to ask twice for our order to be taken and waited a long time for our starters, during which we had to request bread and butter. It took 40 minutes for our plates to be cleared and our main courses never arrived. After waiting another 25 minutes, we complained and were told our meals would be ready in 2 minutes. However, when our main meals finally arrived about 10 minutes later, the food was not fresh and the vegetables were cold. After waiting for an hour and 40 minutes, we decided to leave. Despite this, the manageress was understanding and did not charge us for our meal. It seemed that there was an issue in the kitchen, as none of the tables had food on them. If the staff had communicated the problem and offered a drink as compensation, it may have helped resolve the situation better. Unfortunately, we do not plan on returning to this restaurant, especially when there are plenty of other options in Hatch End."

"If you want a memorable evening, head to the Old Etonian restaurant. This elegant restaurant serves mostly French and Italian cuisine and provides a romantic experience. The menu selection is extensive and with the quality to match. With a variety of starters, mains and puddings to choose from, for the desert lovers there is a substantial desert trolley, which is unusual these days. The wine list is extensive and wines can be chosen to suit your taste and for the food, we recommend the Malbec. The King Prawn and Scallops for your appetizers and for your main Filet Steak and Salmon, Calves Liver being highly recommended. As one would expect the service is on-point and staff being very attentive."

"We visited club 2000 after long time, food was absolutely awful, ordered our starters crispy bhajhia, these had no taste, and weren't crispy at all. Chilli paneer again no taste just been tossed in lots of soya sauce, didn't taste anything like what a chilli paneer should taste like. Mains we ordered daal makhani, this had lots and lots of salt, we sent it back once came back again no difference. Pilau rice, had before lots of times at several restaurants. Pilau rice never has peas in it, here had lots of peas in it. What can I say, am absolutely appalled by the food that was served to us, what was supposed to be a nice family meal out, was not, as we didn't eat our mains, we have had to come home and make something to eat, as both my children hadn't eaten. I will be spreading the word to my family and friends to not to visit this place. We asked to speak to the owner of Club 2000, he had no interest in coming over to us to talk, the only interest he had was to take the money for the food that we hadn't eaten, also we got threatened that if we didn't pay, they would ban us. Customer service absolutely awful in every way."

"I found this little gem from a Google search. It’s such a shame that all the decent cafes in Harrow have closed or changed hands. Parking can be a little challenging but I managed to find parking very close by. On arrival I was pleasantly greeted by the waitress and was advised I could sit anywhere. I chose to sit in the far left hand corner table with a good view of the rest of the cafe. I did like the ambiance and liveliness of this cafe. I would say they have the advantage of Wi-Fi but I just couldn’t get it working at all which is highly disappointing. The decor is nice and the place appeared clean. I placed my order with a young lady who was clearly in training as a waitress. I came here for breakfast so I ordered the KLC Special £6.50. I asked the waitress if there was an alternative to chips and she said no. However she asked if I would like Masala chips instead of plain, to which I agreed and request to have Masala chips with my breakfast. I asked the waitress if they had Rooibos Tea to which she looked confused, as most people do, and suggested the Teas they do have. I asked what herbal teas they have to which she was unable to answer so I settled for a simple black tea. When my breakfast arrived, I was visually very impressed. However the egg was lukewarm and the sausages were the worst I have ever tasted. I would go as far to say they tasted “cheap and nasty”. They were completely tasteless and extremely poor quality. During the course of my meal no one came to check if everything was ok until I had finished. I guess this is common with single diners but I find it highly annoying. The young trainee waitress came over to collect my plate and ask if everything ok. I told her the egg was lukewarm and the sausages tasted very bad. I very much doubt this was communicated any further back to the chef or the owners who were present at the time. I was pleased to see they have all their delivery drivers wait outside for the collection of their orders. I was also pleased to see the array of fusion dishes I’d like to try so I’ll definitely be coming back to try them. When I went to settle my bill I was disappointed to see I was charged an extra £1.30 for Masala chips, something which wasn’t highlighted to me when I’m placed my order. Overall my experience was ok because it’s not always about food although it does help to have good quality hot food and be well informed about what is being ordered."

"This is a lovely bar and just reeks with history. It has a central location right smack in the middle of 2 shopping precincts. Have witnessed a staff changeover with a strong team now settled. An enormous Eastern European crowd predominates, but this is intermittently challenged by a strong thread of Harrow locals and is especially fun on match days. Here, the North/South divide is chewed over and felt when league teams on either side play at the nearby Wembley Stadium. Then, this space becomes really interesting and fun. Not surprisingly, the pub is now offering the staple Karaoke Night and Quiz. Though note that standard of singing,on the Karaoke Night including songs from shows and opera, makes this a night out. A recent visit to the Live Music Night was met with visitors and locals alike dancing, ols stool style to a professional locally sourced. Pubs are disappearing at a rapid rate with those still holding social fabric together keeping the faith in doing what pubs have been designed since inception to do: be a collective space for strangers and locals to chew the fat and enjoy entertainment put on to keep both happy. At it's best The Royal Oak keeps the tradition started in 1327 alive and kicking."

"The service at the St. George outlet is terrible. The tables were dirty and despite requesting them to be cleaned twice, the staff took 10 minutes to come over. Instead of attending to our table first, the staff started clearing trash from other empty tables. It seemed like they were more concerned about those "ghost customers" than us. Finally, when the staff did come to our table, we had to request for it to be cleaned before the others. The staff refused, insisting on clearing the other tables first. After a long wait, we were told they didn't have ketchup and our order was given to someone else by mistake. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, the staff realized their error and remade our drinks incorrectly. This was by far the worst Starbucks outlet I have ever visited."

"Excellent menu, really lovely service and it 's a lovely pub. Warm and lots of nice areas to relax in. It was quiet when we arrived and we had not booked so there was initially reluctance. I assured them we won 't be there too long as we had other engagements. By the time our food was served, the pub was heaving. It was so busy that I could understand their initial reluctance about entertaining 'walk-ins '. I guess we were lucky to be there just ahead of the rush hour. We had a soufflé for starter and a soufflé for desert but the king was the Sunday Roast in-between. The soufflé were delectable. Both the savoury and sweet were fantastic."

"To start, the food at this restaurant was surprisingly expensive. Additionally, the service was incredibly slow. Despite ordering before 8, we were not served until 9:05. At 8:30, a staff member informed us that under 18s had to leave by 9, even though we had not received our food yet. As we were eating, another staff member, who appeared to be the manager, rudely demanded that we leave immediately. When we tried to explain the situation, he was confrontational and refused to apologize for the slow service. This experience was so negative that we will not be returning to this restaurant. Despite the food being decent this time, the service was unacceptable."

"Having dined at many places, this place stood out. Very tasty, really; especially considering they were almost full to capacity. The atmosphere between 7 -8 pm was loud. Prices were at the higher end, but I'd rather pay that then some of the other places who charge less but you'd never go again. Portions were good, they could always increase it a bit more. Seating was not an issue for everyone there, seems only for me it was too close for comfort and lacking personal space to other diners. I personally think that was there greatest downside. They were maximising their clientle. Service was very good, they replaces a Biryani that was toooo hot for a hot one without any fuss whatsoever. At times you had to wait a bit for service because they were that busy. I would definitely go again, but outside their peak times. The owner was great, immensely welcoming, even treated my parents and little daughter to a treat. Thank you. P.s, we were going to go to Giftos in Southall, who had let us down many times, but am really glad we tried this place out. I recommend you give it a try."

"The servers were very pleasant, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. The minced lamb kebab skewer seemed undercooked and tasted like dog food. The 'saffron' rice was bland and only had a small amount of saffron scattered on top. The chicken skewer was chewy and flavorless, and the plate was greasy. The okra lamb stew was mainly garlic and tomatoes, with only a few pieces of lamb. The salad was fresh and the drinks were good. We informed the server about our dissatisfaction and he kindly removed the 10% service charge. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

"As the family all wanted different meals, I thought am gonna try something different and order though delivero. I had the steak and cheese with saute onions, x 2 with cheesy fries. The only problem i had i dont eat mushrooms, I be honest I didn't notice anywhere to add a message to add on or take of. i would hve prefer picked gherkins with some jalapeños n onions not saute onions. Would of made it out of this world!! But it never gave any choices I don't think they use these extra I've mentioned same with the cheesy fries. Overall the last flavours was really nice worth the money"

"Those who enter the balti hat in rayners lane for the first time must be made aware that it is high-facilities! we have been here for over twenty-five years and have abandoned all hopes for resistance. quite simple, eating is beyond...supreme only if they think that they may not have another hypothesis about the wafts another round of fresh aromen flavor to floor, a balti flaring on or more brot from the tandoor, all prepared, cooked and served by some of the most cheerful and professional people on the planet. we have heard of those who have managed to limit their visits to two months, and they are admired. but I suspect how we are, they're pulling dog bags in the meantime. here there are aromes that find taste buds that they never knew existed. an excellent family-run restaurant that will run and run while others will rise and fall. this is a good place to be"
