"Yesterday, I enjoyed the best Salt Beef sandwich of my life at B&K in Edgware, London. The sandwich was served on Rye bread with pickle and mustard, and there was a Latke hidden on the side. I have been coming to this restaurant since 1996, and I can confidently say that sandwiches from other shops around London do not even come close in comparison. Overall, a delightful dining experience."

"I found this little gem from a Google search. It’s such a shame that all the decent cafes in Harrow have closed or changed hands. Parking can be a little challenging but I managed to find parking very close by. On arrival I was pleasantly greeted by the waitress and was advised I could sit anywhere. I chose to sit in the far left hand corner table with a good view of the rest of the cafe. I did like the ambiance and liveliness of this cafe. I would say they have the advantage of Wi-Fi but I just couldn’t get it working at all which is highly disappointing. The decor is nice and the place appeared clean. I placed my order with a young lady who was clearly in training as a waitress. I came here for breakfast so I ordered the KLC Special £6.50. I asked the waitress if there was an alternative to chips and she said no. However she asked if I would like Masala chips instead of plain, to which I agreed and request to have Masala chips with my breakfast. I asked the waitress if they had Rooibos Tea to which she looked confused, as most people do, and suggested the Teas they do have. I asked what herbal teas they have to which she was unable to answer so I settled for a simple black tea. When my breakfast arrived, I was visually very impressed. However the egg was lukewarm and the sausages were the worst I have ever tasted. I would go as far to say they tasted “cheap and nasty”. They were completely tasteless and extremely poor quality. During the course of my meal no one came to check if everything was ok until I had finished. I guess this is common with single diners but I find it highly annoying. The young trainee waitress came over to collect my plate and ask if everything ok. I told her the egg was lukewarm and the sausages tasted very bad. I very much doubt this was communicated any further back to the chef or the owners who were present at the time. I was pleased to see they have all their delivery drivers wait outside for the collection of their orders. I was also pleased to see the array of fusion dishes I’d like to try so I’ll definitely be coming back to try them. When I went to settle my bill I was disappointed to see I was charged an extra £1.30 for Masala chips, something which wasn’t highlighted to me when I’m placed my order. Overall my experience was ok because it’s not always about food although it does help to have good quality hot food and be well informed about what is being ordered."

"One of the best Indian meals I have had recently! The mixed grill was the best at this place and I have tried a lot of mixed grills. I ordered a few curries but my favourite had to be the chicken madras and lamb bhuna. I was unsure what to pick and the staff here were brilliant and patient with me trying to understand the menu and recommending good dishes. They are all very friendly and attentive so both the service and food were top notch. I visited here with my friends and we will be definitely coming back."

"I have always adored this cozy little restaurant. Since Covid, it has become even cleaner and more upscale with new lighting fixtures, giving it a touch of class. Although it is a Sri Lankan restaurant, it also offers dishes that are popular in South Indian cuisine due to the similar cultures. Being a South Indian myself, I feel right at home here enjoying traditional dishes like Dosa, Idly, Paratha, and Thali meals. One of my favorite dishes is the Chicken fried rice prepared in the Indo Chinese style, which is absolutely fantastic! The staff is welcoming, the food is authentic and reminds me of home, and the restaurant always seems to be bustling with customers."

"After the lockdown this was the best gift we gave ourselves.The couple are from Southern part of Iran where the gourmet food and cooking are so famous . But I must say they are cream du cream of hospitality, decoration, cleaning, freshness and the foods are top of the range in Persian cuisine. I was so surprised by multi diverse communities that are eating in this beautiful place and made me so happy that the couple are true representatives of our culinary culture.Wonderful food, management’s are gorgeous .So authentic the food tastes so great and the quality is superb kebabs melt and starters are must .I am an Iranian this is the best by far , I have been to so many Iranian restaurants in Europe and America, but the food , the setting and the management are unique.its just like a first class restaurant in Tehran . "I don't often go to eat, but I love frankie bennys. at the various locations I can go and it is always a tasty bite. eating is nice and my two children ate for free. they have great cocktails and the service is friendly and fast. I would like to distinguish at least a few workers petronella and sam who made our visit even more pleasant. if they don't have to pre-book they might have to wait for the table, so better to make calls in advance. I have no complaints and my family loves it."

"We were disappointed to find that our reservations were not honored at the beginning of our dining experience. Luckily, they were able to accommodate us with an available table. "I was only in the area for the day for a hospital appointment, but decided to stop by this amazing restaurant for breakfast before my appointment. We ordered the big breakfast because we hadn't eaten before leaving Hampshire. We were not disappointed. The bar staff were very friendly and polite, as were the other patrons. Ordering through the app was quick and efficient, and our huge breakfasts arrived in no time. The food was absolutely delicious. They also offered free refills of tea and coffee, and the coffee was amazing. I would definitely return if I have another hospital appointment in the future."

"I live in the area and never considered dining at Sahara Lounge because I always saw people smoking shisha in the front. However, a friend recommended this place for its amazing food and friendly staff. Don't let the sight of people smoking shisha deter you from trying it out. The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. I will definitely be bringing my family here for a meal this weekend. I was impressed by the vegetarian options available and the service provided for dine-in patrons."

"I ordered a full English breakfast and Coffee was not included not like other Cafes, the toast was only 1 slice which is not enough so I was not satisfied but I asked for more and was given . When I finished eating I ordered another cappuccino, than another teenage lady was telling my waitress to charge me for toast but she said: no it 's ok so then I thought that 's nice. I went back to order a biscuit to have with my coffee , and after they agreed not to charge me for toast the same teenage charged me for extra toast , so I complained and she went ahead go and complain go ahead. . Very rude mean staff . Over a toast. All together just for myself I been charged £18.20 this is daylight robbery."

"We had a booking here at 1.30pm Saturday for a reunion of friends coming to Harrow from outside of London. The lady that served us with plenty of attitude , warned that kitchen was closing, almost as soon as we ordered food. There was no mention of this when the booking was made. We ordered drinks, about 6 starters and a main each. It was beyond belief that the restaurant expected us to consume this under 30 minutes, as the food was ordered within about 15 mins of being seated and ordering drinks. The lady then brought the bill to us with a further warning that restaurant was closing. We were not even halfway through with the food. We were then compelled to pack the food to take away. We refused to pay service charge which was deducted later as if the owner was doing us a favour. After much argument and unpleasant exchanges, 10% was deducted off the bill with great reluctance. The owner kept justifying their closure time saying that it was known to regular customers in the neighbourhood ? He also said, normally when people start eating at 1, they finish by 1.30 here. We ordered food to a value exceeding £135. The owner's implication was that we gobble up all this food in half an hour ? We are shocked that people with this attitude are allowed to continue business. These guys have not heard of customer service. They are just greedy for getting as much business as possible. They literally dumped the food and bill on us. Non verbal message was to take it and get lost. Our sincere advice to you is to avoid this nasty restaurant at all costs. Hakkaland is a disgrace to Harrow. We hope Harrow Council takes note."

"A nice place for a family dinner if you like Indian food. The food was great, the service was excellent. We went with family and it was nice to share good Indian food. The space we were sitting in was slightly drafty despite the heaters but I think we were in the smoking area, I have no idea why. The big bummer was that the dessert guy was not in and I did not get the gelato I wanted. I will not eat Mint Chocolate ice cream even to save my life! I was with a very generous family member so I did not get to see the bill, can 't comment on that. If I had to crib about something I would say seats are a little bit too low. I would go there again, for sure."

"Another visit to great food at Zaza on their lunch menu! Their starters are always done so perfectly our favourites are the Mezzaluna Croccante and pate, as they always give such a hefty portion of pate alongside warm, toasted bread with rocket and a delicious onion chutney. Got spaghetti bolognese for main alongside zucchini fries the sweet potato fries are also great, all their fries are done very well very thin with lots of seasoning and crispiness."

"Came in a Sunday afternoon, glad we booked and it was bustling. The staff were really friendly and attentive, I had the roast beef which was lovely and pink. My partner had the pork roast and although the crackling was good the pork was quite dry. The roast vegetables were nice. Nice beer and ale selection, would recommend coming and booking. There's also a lovely outdoor seating upstairs with a view in the summer."

"the wine glasses and cutlery were not properly polished. they have people come to spend a lot of money to eat in their restaurant, the standards must be a little higher. when we received our bottle of wine, the waitress did not ask if we wanted to try the wee, she just dropped it on our table and said here that you go. the waitress also did not mention how long the cote de boeuf would take, which is very important to let people always know, and if there are delays, it must also be communicated. when we had our ancestors, they fell 20 minutes before the arrival of our steak from our salat and told us no single word. we felt like the waitress couldn't wait to get away from us. I also saw her a drink in the corner while we were waiting for our food, and still no communication. it is not something they should do in the eyes of the customers, especially because they did not have a big report with them. As soon as we got our main course, the waitress asked us how everything was, but when eating in her hand, what made us feel like she was just trying to put a box. if she had delivered the food first and then came to check us what would have been better. in terms of eating, my partner had the worst nights sleep, depending on the house we came out of eating in her restaurant. he had gone through. that was not a pleasant experience at all."

"The service at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. This was my second time visiting the restaurant, and the food came out at different times. Our group was split into two sets - one with vegetarian dishes and one with non-vegetarian dishes. After finishing our starters, we had to wait a long time to receive menus to order our main courses. The chilli paneer was undercooked, but the chilli garlic mogo was very delicious. Overall, the service was lacking and the food was inconsistent. This was a dine-in meal for dinner."

"Visited Royal China, Harrow 14th July, apart from no table linen, food was really tasty and was happy to return which we did 22nd August, did we walk into a different restaurant? The service was awful, i have never been a Chinese restaurant where you do not get complimentary prawn crackers, even when ordering a take away you always get prawn crackers on the house. Sad to say that Royal China have dispensed with that tradition, we got charged for prawn crackers. The food this time round was dreadful, luke warm, bland, the shredded crispy beef was shredded chewy beef, no birds nest as advertised. What a public display of penny-pinching, it was truly pitiful, charge for prawn crackers, no table linen, not even a napkin, only a small paper thing. One has to ask, if they are penny-pinching in public, what penny-pinching are we not seeing? one can only speculate, could explain only being awarded a 4 on the green sticker???? We shall give this place a wide berth."
