"I am writing on behalf of a work colleague. My colleague was supporting a lady in a wheel chair for a meal and drinks on tuesday evening at havant weatherspoons and had started work at am and was due to finish at pm...so took a naked noodle for a quick tea while out supporting In the evening. Wile in the pub she consulted the bar staff if it was ok to use the free hot water to make her working evening meal, and even explained she was supporting a lady with disabilities, she had already purchased a meal for the lady and two drinks, the kind bar staff said yes she could use the water, then moments later the same bar staff came to her and said that the manager said she was not allowed to use the free water or consume her meal in the pub!!!! The manager dodnt even have the balls to say this to her themselves !! I find this outrageous that people who are working to support another person who are not entitled to a bought meal while working are REFUSED FREE hot water for a pot noodle ! Its not like she was whopping out a steak dinner it was a pot noodle !! I use the wetherspoons in petersfield and again i am not entitled to a bought meal so i take my own and there had never ever been a problem staff have even heated a meal for me so why on earth are you refusing free hot water ! That is deprivation of liberty if I ever did see it. can I just rehash a full price meal was bought for the lady being supported and two drinks and her staff was denied free hot water for her working tea! I am disgusted in think the so called management need to rethink their people skills approach instead of the pound signs some people work hard for a living"

"My wife and I stayed in Hayling island for 2 nights nearby and decided to pop in for breakfast the first morning and the Carvery on the day we left to go home. Breakfast: Decent price for an all you can eat breakfast although thought it was strange you have to pay extra for mushrooms which seemed a bit random. Decent enought breakkie though! Nice sausages and bacon, beans and tomatoes good, black pudding was well cooked and not over do e like it can be on some buffet style layouts. Hash browns and potato rostie was decent. Loads of choice of toast, fried bread (not for me! Cereals. Fried eggs where the only disappointment for me if I'm being over critical.ay have just been my timing as the yolks where too hard for me but like I say, possibly just timing as they are hard to keep prefect. Maybe it's the eggs that should be cooked to order instead only the mushrooms?? Overall well worth the price and also have the option of unlimited refills on the tea/coffee. They even had a breakfast pizza !! Would I come back for breakfast!?Definitely !.... Sunday Carvery: Decent choice. We arrived fairly early due to our boat back home so had lunch at 12. Already a decent amount of families in there and much busier by time we had left. Choice of chicken, Gammon, turkey or Beef. I went for the large option but felt that the amount of meat given extra than the regular wasn't really much different. Decent amount of vegetable options too which is good ! Roast potatoes were pretty good and I am the roast potato king "
