"A once great pub and could be again, but very amateurish at the moment!Staff friendly enough but have run out of certain beers a few times when I’ve been in and this weekend ran out of pizza dough before 8 o clock I mean, come on! A good atmosphere in the locals corner but the other end had a push chair, dirty crockery, and discarded face masks etc that didn’t get cleared away!! The “restaurant part” had no atmosphere more canteen than restaurant tbh, and to add insult to injury the lights were turned off whilst we were sitting there drinking beer! It’s just so disappointing that a pub like the Ship, that has such potential is just stagnating…even going backwards….hope it doesn’t sink!!"
