Great little boozer near the lower ferry. Very welcoming staff and good beer . Worth a visit !

Food here is absolutely beautiful ! I had the ship burger and my partner had the ravioli, definitely worth the money and would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Located just off the main road before the ferry, this restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with ample space. Although there is some outdoor seating, parking may be difficult to find. The owner greeted us warmly and they offer four hand pumps serving Ale miles beers that are well maintained. I have visited before after completing walks, as it is a perfect spot at the end of the Brixham to Kingswear coastal walk, and I will definitely return in the future.

Tried a Sunday lunch at the ship inn in Kingswear recently on the recommendation of the place which used to do the best Sunday roast in Dartmouth, the ship in Dock inn until they stopped recently!! Very disappointed! Very froogle portions of meat and vegetables! And wasn 't hot enough!! Very disappointed!! In response to your reply!! Yes, correct. I did eat everything on my plate! A once great pub and could be again, but very amateurish at the moment!Staff friendly enough but have run out of certain beers a few times when I’ve been in and this weekend ran out of pizza dough before 8 o clock I mean, come on! A good atmosphere in the locals corner but the other end had a push chair, dirty crockery, and discarded face masks etc that didn’t get cleared away!! The “restaurant part” had no atmosphere more canteen than restaurant tbh, and to add insult to injury the lights were turned off whilst we were sitting there drinking beer! It’s just so disappointing that a pub like the Ship, that has such potential is just stagnating…even going backwards….hope it doesn’t sink!! Speisekarte ansehen
